"Rhythm Heaven GBA was denied for the same reason as Mother 3: Music rights and their legal fees." ^ are you certain that's the reason? To my knowledge, all of the compositions in RH GBA are/were original (just like its sequels). To me it seems like the game just had the unfortunate fate of being on the GBA.
Ah, thank you for the video. I have a japanese import of the game, and because I don't speak japanese, I could never figure out how this minigame works. Now that I know, I think this and the boxing minigame are probably the coolest in the game.
Do you remember where you got the source for that Mother 3 music thing, i'd love to read up on it since, apparently, there was only one composer for Mother 3 and he is seemingly a Nintendo regular. By the way, great video, i havent played Fever but im sure you and whoever else was with you did fine
Originally, it was on Starmen.net. The information has since become outdated, with updated information there and on sites like GoNintendo, which reveal that Mother 3 is an absurdly difficult game to translate because it uses its own very complex programming language, and any translation (or port, for that matter) requires a thorough knowledge of that programming language.
Oh, okay cool. I never knew that, thanks. It kinda makes the fan translation a lot more impressive than before if that's the case. I probably could've read some Starman stuff before, but i was stuck on the Wii U browser for a long time, and it absolutely hates that website, it wont even load.
+Derplord 64 This is meant to be a 2-player game. In this game, each player must alternately pound the mochi without breaking the bowl or going over the time limit. This requires both players having a certain "rhythm" in order to know not only when to pound the mochi after each blow but also how fast they must pound the mochi before time runs out. The higher the number of blows needed to finish the mochi, the faster the tempo (AKA rhythm) of those blows will be.
I love how graceful the song is when the mochi lowers in her hands.
Me too

This is so easy if you play alone with 2 Wii Controllers.
it's easier
i play all the two player games alone
you should hear the sound they make when you have a really good rhythm going. it doesn't play it in this video.
