It's clever that they do the rising sound effect with a short loop that increases in pitch, that way the minigame is truly endless. Unlike clap trap in the 3ds version that caps at 99
I've never heard the mochi pounding guys make that noise as they're building up to finishing pounding the mochi. I guess you only hear it if you're fast enough, which must say something about how good I am at this game

gotta love how they sound like they're going super saiyan after a while
i like how you dont even hear the noise if you're too slow this is just for the super fast folks
have you ever seen actual mochi being made, this is pretty accurate to how imperceptible the cues are
I wonder what the limit is where it is impossible to pound to the required amount even with tool-assisting

youtube: wanna watch two cartoon guys pound mochi at supersonic speeds for 16 minutes?
me: yeah sure why not
I can somehow see Goku and Vegeta doing this.

This is insanity especially near the end
This gets weirdly nerve racking
I never knew they made a charging up sound when they pound.

this kind of defeats the whole point of rhythm and just becomes “how fast can you mash”
Hey, you still need to make sure your fingers are in rhythm and not press the same button twice in a row.

I wonder what the absolute best score you can possibly get is, like with a frame perfect TAS
Thank you UA-cam. Thank you for placing this video in my recommendations.
No one can beat this fast
Seems like the tas could be optimized. I was able to get 14.44 on the first level.
There should be a 2 plauer remix.
im hoping this isnt a serious comment, but if it is, this is the 2 player version.

Can I get an .iso file for this game, I really want to play it but nothing is reliable
It's downloadable on Wii U eShop
I can do it much faster on my own
Ok
Prove it. Record yourself doing better.
This isn't a rhythm game its just mindless button mash
Mindless button mashing will have you breaking the usu: You have to wait until the other player has pounded the mochi before you press the button.
