Wildwood Story Time • The Mister-Mom Years

- Let's take a moment to appreciate something other than guitar shredding for a moment. Sure, we live and breathe stunning guitars. We all quest after tone, and want to see players tear it up online for hours on end, but there's something deeper that goes when you see a player run up and down the fingerboard. There's depth to the mind of a guitarist that needs to be appreciated -- history, ideas, creativity, expression, pseudo-insanity -- all of it exists beneath the surface, and sometimes we just need to take a little time to listen. Join us for this special series -- Storytime with Greg Koch.

5:20 thank God you weren't shaking the balls whilst Dylan hit the fist ;)
These spots with Greg are pure gold. Keep them coming!!
Thanks Wildwood for allowing your therapy to be broadcast. Seriously thanks for your insight into life as a working musician.
Gregory invented the Stick Shift! The move when you shake the fist.

Ball punches? Gear shifting the fist bump? Great googley-moogely, your cosmic energy splattered forth into the universe as we speak, possibly altering the mystical components of the great beyond for eternity...WHAT?
Sasquatchian goodness from the mothership...Rawk on, king kong! FELLAS! 🤘🏼

Greg,
Love listening to your stories about up and under, walker music, and uncle Bobs. Actually remember seeing you noodling at walker music upstairs. Brings back great memories.
Wildwood perhaps it might be an idea to do a storytime video of how this nickname of "Drade" (or however you spell it) came into being? It has me rather curious indeed...
Actually laughing so hard on the train I'm crying! Ball sack punch, amazing!
I believe the 'fist shake' thing is known as a 'cauliflower'. I can find no record of this however, so maybe the guy I did it too just made it up on the spot! : /
After seeing him so much in his " guitar" mode, we probably had forgotten that he is a mortal with mortal problems like the rest of us.... totally cool !
This might be my favourite of all your videos. Thanks for sharing dude!
I can listen to Greg all day. Got his Wildwood Story Time on a playlist while I put myself to sleep or on long commutes.
it's nice to hear that guitar God's also suffer the joy of family.
Not just a great grest guitarist, with a huge sense of humor, but one heck of a guy too. Love the stories Greg.
I will shake the fist henceforth and forever more, what?!
Been there....done that....LMAO
I can relate the fist shaking hand shake. I didn't get it either for several years.
