Honestly this game was hard the entire way through but it was mostly manageable, at least up until the last parts of Act 6, which was the only time I have ever felt my body heat up from anger and frustration at a videogame
The way he seemingly doesn't see angles is the most confusing thing to me. Not that this game is in any way easy, but considering how good he is at boomer shooters, you'd think he'd have no problem seeing which corners are safe to turn and which ones aren't, especially since he's got a whole less dimension to worry about in a top-down game. I was really dumbfounded on the boat level when he kept going around the wrong side of each container, putting himself in line of sight of like three guys instead of just one. To be fair it is a really hard level and it's not like he wasn't able to beat it, but his tendency to just always put himself between a wall and the barrel of a gun is unnerving.
@@cupriferouscatalyst3708 I genuinely was getting angry at him during that part, also that one part where he fucking dies to a guy with a shotgun in a window multiple times in a row and literally just continues just walking out in the open in front of it AGAIN AND AGAIN and gets merked EACH AND EVERY TIME

It's funny that he's played both games in their entirity but can't figure out that the key is to keep moving in one direction, not jiggle back and forth. Since the AI track your position but update a bit slower than you move, jiggling back and forth causes you to walk into the bullets they fired at where you were a second ago. If you commit to a direction they have to follow you for a while before either you run out of room to move, they get a lucky shot off from the inherent spread of the gun, or you kill them. Makes the game so much easier if you don't try to doorcamp and jiggle around corners. Windows can still go f themselves, though. And Dead Ahead is a nightmare.
Also his uncanny ability to never realize when he's within line of sight (especially noticeable on the boat level where he always walks around the most exposed side of each container). It's not like I raged less than he did either (at least on hard mode), it's just fascinating.
He was doing so well 1:05:36, looking ahead and pointing out to himself that there are no guys with guns, but that there was a window between him and the melee guys.
