We live in Colorado. I received an email when my ballot was sent, and after I completed it and dropped it in the ballot box, I got another one saying it had been received . Our system works fine. Whoever is responsible for this debacle in Michigan needs to be charged.

Hundreds of votes wouldn't swing the election. Trump lost by a LOT in Michigan. The closest state between Biden and Trump was Georgia - and Trump lost that one by more than 11,000 votes - then he tried to get the governor to stuff the ballot box there for him.

These ballots has already been counted and validated at the time of the election. They were put in storage in case of a recount. After a period of time, all the ballots in storage eventually gets destroyed!

Michigan has 105% voter registration. A bunch of counties are at 110% and one is 116% voter registration. I’d say it’s unlikely to ever even have 100% of eligible people registered much less more
Voter rolls should be updated on a biannual basis. People moving out, people moving in, people dying…happens constantly. The maintenance of clean voter rolls should too.

No it said in the video that the woman that stored it was told by somebody. Ask her who it was that told her to stor it.
"My biggest concern is why were they in a storage unit?" Township Supervisor Rachel Stanke said. "Why were they never mailed out to the voters for one? There's got to be a reason why. I don't think you can forget to mail out 289 ballots to voters."
None of the ballots in the storage unit made it into the hands of voters in the 2020 election. That said, of the 289 ballots, 77.5% were marked spoiled, meaning most voters were issued a new ballot in order to perform their civic duty.

Its not just about lost ballets but ballet harvesting has become an issue. I vote by mail but I would reconsider voting with an ID voting in person. I have heard about mail bags full of ballots lost and found, when Bush Sr ran for president, who was a director for the CIA and like his father was in a secret society- Skull and Bones.
I have lost my trust in our Banana Republic voting system. There is just too much corruption today, and who knows how far back it goes.

So she says she was asked by a township to store some files in her storage shed. And not a single red flag goes up in your mind! Really tough pill to swallow. Jail time will be a great lesson for future times when she fails to remember it's probably not a good idea to keep public documents from the public. Or any others.
If you were conducting an election, you would have to get the ballots printed well before the election, right? And you wouldn't want to maybe run out of ballots, so you'd print more than you probably would end up using. And you would have to store them somewhere secure, right? And after the election, when the votes had been counted and the election certified, there would probably be leftover, blank ballots somewhere, right? If somebody had found out that a bunch of blank ballots had been destroyed, that would be suspicious. If nobody had any idea what happened to the blank ballots, that, too, would set of the conspiracy theorists. Well, the ballots were found and accounted for, and if they are still blank there's no problem. Of course, if the ballots were blank, it's not a newsworthy story and all the clueless losers who want to see election officials prosecuted for imaginary crimes wouldn't have got their dose of imaginary conspiracy fuel.

The Constitution requires in-person voting except for the disabled as well as soldiers and other government personnel stationed abroad. Mail-in elections are unconstitional....unless some can come up with a conveniently-timed worldwide pandemic to force a "medical emergency" that can be used to bypass the Constitution. Surely no one would do that, would they? At any rate the "Corona emergency declaration" has expired, and with it, mail-in elections are back tob eing illegal and unconstitutional. Democrats will no doubt keep doing it anyway in spite of the Constitution.

We had a similar occurrence in a SF bay area city, where a large number of mail-in absentee ballots during the 2016 Democratic Primary were found in dumpsters. This confirmed to me the accusations I'd heard about that primary being rigged to prevent the person who really had the majority of popular votes from being the party's candidate in the General Election. I had been an absentee voter up to that point but became disgusted with the blatant corruption of our electoral system and never bothered to vote since. I also stopped donating money to the national party's fund raising machine and instead gave directly to the candidate of my choice.
Democratic party head admitted during g primaries they were trying to rigg the votes for Hillary Clinton, agai st Bernie Sanders as he accused. She resigned with no further legal problems. Hillary, the crime boss hired her and sell out Bernie threw his corrupt weight to Hillary, hoping for a cabinet position.

@@DanOKC There is absolutely no evidence anywhere that absentee ballots are subject to significant fraud. Colorado does 100% mail ballots with no problems. This video does indicate mis-handling that should not have occurred, but it does not indicate any fraud.
It's not about absentee or in-person voting, it IS about the officials running the local elections. When you have absentee ballots that were never folded and mailed come in and get counted, the people running the elections are getting the results that they wanted to get. When you have corrupt people running the elections, you will get the results that they want, NOT what we voted for. They always say that they want free and fair elections, yet they lock out observers, cover the windows with paper and block any group wanting to verify the results.
It's about to happen again on a scale that is unimaginable

Gotta disagree with your wording there. Driver's license shouldn't be the only valid form of identification. Any government-issue identification with picture, name, and enough additional information to uniquely identify the person should suffice. Not everyone drives.

Please, anyone reading this… Do not mail your votes in unless it’s absolutely necessary due to some physical infirmity or other extenuating circumstances. Voting in person is the most accurate way for your vote to be counted.
Arizona 2022 election workers thought of that too and so machines in largely republican areas mysteriously malfunctioned and the ballots for those republican areas were incorrectly sized so the machines would not accept them.

For the people thinking 289 votes isn't enough to matter, Thetford Township had a population of 7,049 in 2010. 289 votes is just over 4% of the votes. That may seem small if you look at one town, but zoom out and look at the entire state. Michigan has 1,773 cities/towns/municipalities. Multiply 289 votes by 1,773 different towns and that comes out to a potential 512,397 votes.
If that number seems too large, let's take the 4% margin they used in Thetford Township and multiply it by the state's population of 10,077,331. Phew! I was WAY overcalculating! That's only 403,093 votes! You do that by 50 states and you get 20,154,650 additional votes. Or lost votes- the article doesn't say anything if they were duplicates or throw aways?

In some red states in minority districts, the government have closed down so many voting locations that some people spend 6 or more hours in line so that they can vote. 2020 election, an absentee ballot showed up at my home for me to vote in the election. I did not order it nor want it but it came all the same as though I did. Mail carrier said that they had seen an increase in absentee ballots in my area. Tell me that voter fraud isn’t occurring…SMH
