Nice video, great job on the chassis, can’t wait for the lightning part as i’m waiting on this to hook up my lights on mine 770s and it’s a lot of led with every lights installed.
That is going to be a cool build. I’ve started doing more learn as I go projects - lots of fun. The SMD on the circuit board for the back is very slick and looks great all put together. I really like lots of lights as well so I’m staying tuned for Part 2. Looking forward to this build and it’s coming along nicely. Have a great day Bob.
Loving the build concept on this one...... no sure its how we'd do it in Europe, we would shorten the chassis the idea of the equipment rack is to get the fuel tanks, air tanks, battery etc out of the way to put extra axles in. However can't wait to see how this one works out
The real life version of the kind of truck you're making would usually have an extra steering axle in the empty space between the rear axles and the front axle. There are a dizzying number of different layouts with 8x4 and 8x6 configuration.
Hello, nice build! I have the same gearbox on the way for a M1070 project. Could you please tell me how to program my Flysky FS-I6X to control the speed changes? Thanks!
Bob, I recently bought a Tamiya Arocs from you but I want to fit that transmission in there, it would be really helpful if you reviewed this transmission because there seems to be almost no info anywhere
There are quite a few of these cast motor/transmissions out there from Asia. They do the job, but typically there is more or less plenty of noise, sloppiness and rattle, as with the original transmission. If one don't mind, it's okay. There is a version transmission named CVT, got a rubber belt inside, that it's better to stay clear of, slips if loaded too much. If one are a perfectionist when it comes to keeping sound level low, one need to look for a german gearmotor like Servonaut GM32U390 (1 speed, which actually is enough for most uses)
nice build but...... i think the the meassures between steering axle and the boggie axles is to long..... it should be shorter if you dont add an extra axle in the front
Bob can you send me a link to the trailer you are using in this build. I would appreciate it very much and I can't wait until I see all the modifications you do to it.
Love your videos. So I just checked out your website. Looked at just the kit. Question though, does it come already assembled, like an RTR type of build, just needs to paint the body??
Hi like watchin ur videos there grate wouldn’t it have bn easeyer to cut the frame frame the kite then cut the part from the long chassie n also I would have left the 2 servos up frunt as u get better steerin from it or u could have just cut the kit chassie in harf n added the length in middle would have made it love easeyer for u m8
Lesu's showing up in my targeted ads a lot recently. They sell reduction boxes, transfer boxes, axles with and without lockers, and mock airbag suspension parts, amongst everything else. So no, you don't need a new frame. You DO need to buy the new axles, transfer box and forward propshaft.
I think I would leave the side panels off, and maybe put a none driven lift axle to fill the space. That rear bumper is an impressive piece. This will be quite the rig once you have all of it finished.
hi I am looking at buying a 1/14 KOMATSU RC HYDRAULIC WHEEL LOADER WA480 from eagle mach are they any good?as I am new to RC digers .I am not new to RC
Regarding 1/14 loader the one called W470 got a good reputation, few problem. It's made by another company than Eagelmatch. Eaglemach is behind the design of the loader 870K that have been on the market for some years and is known for trouble. They got a updated version out now called WA370. Don't know if they got it improved, but hopefully. I'm not familiar with the WA480. If manufatured by Eaglematch I would be carefull. If not already bought, would search around regarding experiene with these different loaders. (Bob is mostly into trucks)
Okay, I've been eyeballing the Lesu axles, and especially their mock airbag system, the single-bag version with the hinge in front and bag behind the axle. Looks like the mock airbags would be easy to put a big booster spring inside, to carry heavier loads. I was concerned about product quality, but if this project of yours shows they're solid, I might end up biting. Also, do you know of any mockup air brake cylinders to attach to the axles? Or any "here you can glue these scrap bits together and paint them aluminium" scratchbuilds?
The axles look great. I will show them in more detail when I get the chassis running. Not sure about the airbag suspension but will probably look at it in a future build.
OMG Bob, that's a winter project...Eager to see all videos and build going alone...wow
Yeah boy I’ll be back watching for the next one love it, appreciate you sharing got to see it get finished.
Wow, look forward to the next videos....
Custom building is always fun
Good job so far
Best channel on UA-cam! Love your videos!
Wow Mr.. Bob amazing videos from you GOD bless you always and thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
Very cool build and it is looking good! Lots of odd hurdles anytime you are customizing things but it sure is fun!
Wow Bob that is looking beautiful, Yep I’m here watching love it

What a great project. I really like the trailer. Looking foward how it all comes together.
Nice video, great job on the chassis, can’t wait for the lightning part as i’m waiting on this to hook up my lights on mine 770s and it’s a lot of led with every lights installed.
Ordered a flysky preprogrammed from you. Works awesome. Thank you
Looking great, looking forward to the rest of the build. Thanks for sharing your builds with us.
Happy Thanksgiving! Cant wait to see more progress!

Happy Thanksgiving Bob!!! Hope you have a fantastic day!! Thanks for the video! Looking forward to the rest.
Thank you! Same to you!
Great job 👍💪 very interesting build and parts compilation as an armee transportion

The side plates if you get a set from the single rear axel truck they longer a can cut them to fit in.

What chassis did you use
Do you have a llink for the metal 5th wheel that you are using on this build ?

I like that green color
Would it be possible to know the color code?
It is TS-61 Nato Green
@@HobbyconceptsLLC Thank you so much! :)
Very cool video. Can't wait to see it finished. But just wondering where can I get that tank at.
I got this one off eBay
Do you have a link to Scaleclub equipment rack?
Lots of places but here is a good start: www.wtbcar.com/shopping/index.php?route=product/category&path=20

Nope, total kit. Better basic build video here: ua-cam.com/video/aKbjNw1l2r0/v-deo.html
Bob do you think that particular engine could fit on a grand hauler or you think we have to modify the steering please let me know thank you
It looks like it would fit fine in a Grand Hauler with no mods to servo locations.
I would like to buy this one. Can you do one for me?

Looking forward to this project. Btw is it possible to turn the tamiya 6×4 mercedes truck into a 6×6 one without a new frame and new sets of diffs?

I have not figured out exactly what to do with the side gap yet. Will see what transpires.....

Use each primer on the alloys then have no probs painting them
How far into the video before you start the build
