Love the speaker on the snare drum. I just came up with an in-the-box way to do that. Take a sample of a snare that rings the way you like, trim off the attack, drop the level about 20 dB, export the WAV, and use it as an impulse response in your favorite reverb plugin. Try it! You'll laugh your ass off!
Dude it's crazy what one can do with convolution reverbs. Weird stuff ! I've put a short sample of my girlfriend talking through this, and it makes anything sound like like its coming from a whale or something ! :)
