😊 just really curious why you roll it out before you use it? I tried it and then my puff pastry didn’t puff.
Also, why do you trim all that good pastry off from the edges? Does it matter with a puff pastry if your edge is perfectly clean? I don’t think so.😊

That would really scare me that it would just turn all greasy and not get crispy or even cooked and all those layers of things. Nothing worse thanraw Bacon.
And I do agree with your other responders here. It seems to be really big. It seems like you could’ve made 12 out of those just by cutting those long strips in half and folding each one over once just an observation. Thanks for posting.🎉

I guess to thin it out bit more since she has to fold them like she did.. but I find it's senseless to cut them so wide..these r supposed to be appetizers.. not dinner..idk..she comes up with different cuts & strategies to be novative.... but does give some good ideas in some videos even if it takes forever 😅

You can substitute other ingredients to the way you like it.

I will definitely try this but cut them in half and precook the bacon. Also please fast forward thru your prep - no need to see the entire prep - and yes I always mute the soundtrack. But looks great!

Change the speed under the cog icon. Or move the red line with your finger or mouse to see the picture frames. Stop if see something finally changing and then carry on. The whole video in 10 sec. Easy

Wow, so many negative comments; I guess we could take some ideas and modify it by our own liking version or substitutes, cut the amount in half, whatever else. But I don't know if it is necessary to put out so much negative thoughts. Of course everyone is entitled to a free opinion . This is just my thought.

This doesn't make much sense to me. First, it seems really big for an appetizer. You could cut the strips in half and it might work better to just fold over once. Second, it bothers me that you put raw bacon inside this. I would really be afraid that the bacon wouldn't cook all the way thru. Wouldn't the rendered fat from the bacon make the pastry a bit soggy? I would par cook that bacon a bit before using it in this recipe.
I agree. My thoughts exactly about the bacon, too. This might be a great appetizer, just cut it down like you said & I might use smoked turkey ham lunch meat.
What's really weird.... Is that the ones she made were folded into fourths and quite high.
After all that baking and raising in the oven .... They came out folded into thirds and a bit less high ..... 🤔

I've made bacon wraps like what Gregg's sell I always use raw bacon it's very thin and definitely cooks in half an hour with the pastry 😊

not to be critical, but there were at least two sticks of butter in that recipe not 3.5 ounces, and there were at least 16 ounces of milk. There were two full cups of milk that went in there. I love the garlic powder salt, but I don’t like as much pepper that cheese was gorgeous. But I don’t know how your baking cooked. I can see slightly boiling ahead of time to get it almost all the way cooked and then putting it in, but I like the idea like one of the other comments are said of having one layer not three layers of that. The sauce is the best I’ve ever seen made.😊❤

I’d like to know where she gets these large puff pastry rolls. The available options in our area are much smaller and would never support these ingredients. Hers are much thicker.
I like the recipe but would cut it smaller for appetizers. Or just keep it in the original form for sandwiches.

Raw bacon? Not only too greasy, flavor overwhelming, mismatched other ingredients; rather prosciutto. Also, music, and video long. No need to watch all that grating!
Please fast forward your video when you are cutting or grating vegetables or spreading any mixture onto anything as it’s very painful to have to wait and watch you do it from beginning to end. You could forward all these steps like some other people do who post recipes. Thank you

I would love to actually try these recipes, but I refuse to watch the videos. No one needs to see all four sides of the pastry trimmed. Likewise, watching a whole block of cheese being grated is a waste of time. I can't be the only one who finds these videos unending and choose to scroll to something else.
I think you're saying it's too long for YOU, right? Why not just thank them and fast forward through the parts you don't want to see?

I love these baking videos but that repetitious piano tune so often used, gets annoying. The pieces are a bit large for an appetizer but would be delicious for sandwich or luncheon.

I think they look good . When she picks them up they look more like a sausage roll size. You can make them any size you'd like. It's a good idea isn't it.

Hey don’t spend your time criticising, give it a go or make your own version it’s a good suggestion tweak to suit yourself and try to be less critical and be more adventurous with what’s a simple dish anyone can make
Wow, I agree I don’t need to watch someone grate the entire block of cheese. There are several things why this is a bad idea as shown. First, precook or at least partially precook the bacon so you don’t get ALL that grease on the finished product. Second, these are way too big for an appetizer. It’s an entire meal. Fold over once, and then cut one more time, so it’s narrower. Then it’s more like an appetizer size. This will be very salty, so I would add thin tomatoes either inside or after it’s done. As it is shown, this will be so full of grease! Both inside the wrap and then in the sauce. And it is very boring to watch because just show us one folded, don’t show us each one being folded. It’s like the cheese - it’s boring to watch. Same with the butter - we don’t need to watch it melt!
Looks good...but video is too long and includes too much prep detail. I think I've see some of your content before and always left after 2 or 3 minutes.
Please consider editing, because your recipes look really good.

Far too bulky more like a lunch dish. We don't need to see you grate everything speed it up a bit. Zuccini has little flavour and is very wet.

Heart attack on a plate, I love a bit of naughty fatty food, but this is too much for me.
While the concept is good, I think it's a terrible waste of all those trimmed edges. One doesn't need to have perfect edges for this. Not a good idea rolling puff pastry.. The bacon will cook but the fat content staying in there is frightening.. The portions are too large for appetisers. The zucchini needs more draining. Also , when making a video no need to show the complete method. People are short of time and get impatient . However, as critical as I sound, PLEASE DO NOT STOP please carry on with what you are doing, just make a few changes. You have the ideas and the enthusiasm and these are the most important requirements . Trust me, things will fall into place. You do have something there.. Good Luck.

I do not like zucchini at all! It is so blended is so full of water and I don’t think it’s good in any recipes actually. Spinach would be better, spinach and grated broccoli florettes.
Looks like a watery greasy mess and far too big for an appetizer. Also this is not quick and easy.
