I think Kuro veered away from their rigid team building in PGR. With the lack of elemental reactions and less focus on mono-elemental teams like in PGR. WW will give us more room for team building.
Like I love how Mortefi despite being Fusion buffs Jiyan despite having an Aero element.

As someone who wants to actually main Rover and really see how far i can push the homie im gonna end up saving so many resources because i wont be building Yanyang or sanhua, ill just be focusing on him, Verina (from the selector) and hopefully encore if i manage to snipe her off the discount banner. Im not rerolling so ill play it where it lies but verina and Rover are 100% getting all the love and attention they need to fully shine.
Verina is my most desirable character she is so cute to let her slide 💚

What's your opinion on saving for the 2nd banner to make a stronger calcharo team?
Your teams will have a lot less raw power due to a lack of sequence levels and no Jiyan earlier on in the game. This could make clearing Tower of Adversity a bit harder for your account but still doable! The main benefit is being able to get a lot of copies of Dan Xin and Chixia who are both capable of doing a lot of damage, while also being able to pull Jiyan.
That said, if you're able to get a good 5* dmg dealer like Calcharo off of the initial beginner banner, then that might set you up good enough to save for Yinlin.
