I agree. There’s a Goodwill 10mins from my house that I rarely visit because of how overpriced they are. I am really liking St. Vincent de Paul more and more. Their prices are fair.
Prices are skyrocketing at thrift stores because goodwill see resellers buying reasonably & then selling for big profit so they are jumping on the bandwagon wagon too. Resellers are wrecking it for the average person buying for theirselver
I love those vases. By coincidence, I took my 12 year old so to Goodwill with me today. Last time he found a telescope and a Mo Willems pigeon pillow. Today he found a claw machine he wanted months ago, another huge plush character, and a Luke Skywalker figure. Of course, I bought him everything. I found a nice large basket from Threshold (new originally from Target) to toss throws next to the sofa.

I live in Australia and where I do think you have amazing Thrift stores in the US we also have some wonderful finds in ours ❤ loved the side Tables so much nicer than the ones being sold in the pics , oh the Candle vintage holder so beautiful .

I have 2 of that exact oil lamp plus another larger one. They give off a lot of heat if your furnace goes down, plus lots of light. However, I light them quite often just because they're pretty.

4:28 Clearly etched Villeroy & Boch, which is made in Germany. Those happen to be vintage and worth a good penny. Probably Circa 1990's. Love your taste.

No problem. Not all of the good stuff is 'etched', but a lot of it is like Waterford, Kosta Boda, Tiffany & Co., and Bloch Crystal. Happy Hunting!
