Nintendo really shouldn't be talking about morals. Their morals are a trillion dollar black hole.
It's so tempting to just, kinda, remove games from my life entirely, when all game publishers hate thier developers -- except Nintendo, the best publisher who, instead, hates their fans.
It's so goddamned depressing. Video games are supposed to be fun. Especially Nintendo games. I shouldn't feel like I'm handing money over to someone who hates me when I buy a game. I shouldn't feel like I'm supporting vile censors when I praise a game.
None of us think that your content violates any of this, but that's because we have brains. Nintendo doesn't have brains, they only have pockets and laywers, and feet they'll use to kick you in the balls if they don't like you for any reason.
It is absurd to me that you think any of this might be just fine, when you have seen first hand that Nintendo punished YOU for something some other retailer did. There is no sanity left in that company.
The last voice of reason died in a hospital bed on July 11th, 2015.
Speak for yourself, I don’t think Nintendo hates their fans, but i think Sony and Microsoft do, Nintendo is the only true gaming company left and while they’re certainly not perfect and do some strange things that don’t make sense, Nintendo understands what makes games fun unlike Sony and Microsoft.

Funny, they want to crack down on unsuitable or immoral content but they let the eshop sell blatant hentai
I'm afraid things like chaotic play in New Super Mario Bros.: intentionally picking up your friends, bouncing on their heads, stealing powerups or causing them to lose lives could be construed as disrupting game progress.
Things like that are built into the game. This policy is referring to things like glitches or hacking.
Four different parts:
1. I really enjoy making my own videos. Whatever my fans like to see)
2. I’m a were to make something great)
3. I don’t like the way Nintendo, thinking about not copying anything.
4. It’s a part I like doing.
Impeding multiplayer game progression can br classified as griefing. For example, deliberately using a sequence of actions to softlock a multiplayer game while streaming/recording.
This is just an example, and only one at that.
Just a note: Nothing new is happening with the Nintendo guidelines. They’re the same as they’ve been since November 2017. Only change is some language as a result of recent events with inappropriate behavior, which is only a good thing.
Good luck enforcing this absolute stupidity Nintendo.
Just a prerequisite for the addition of voice chat on the switch successor.
This can either be about Nintendo taking down videos and suing people who post videos of them being toxic and griefing or it could mean hurting game experience by soiling the game or anything that Nintendo deems as a spoiler, which can be anywhere from boss spoilers in those awful thumbnails to general gameplay Nintendo says is a spoiler

I'm a little unclear about some of this. My channel has basically been me talking over Wave Race 64 remixes for over a year now (basically the same way Sunbro talks over Mega Man and Castlevania remixes). Now ironically I JUST secured some non-Nintendo remixes to use on my channel, but I LIKE the Wave Race remixes and plan on continuing to use them. (I've even talked to people who associate the Twilight City theme with my content more than with Wave Race, which I find hilarious.) I also worry about the remix composer, Thaddeus Silva, who's doing great work over on his channel and can hopefully keep doing what he's doing under these new guidelines.

Yeah UA-cam videos like yours help me decide what games to buy and may even encourage me to buy games that i wasn't even thinking about. I wouldn't buy a game without seeing the gameplay and wouldn't risk wasting my money if they stopped people using gameplay footage in videos. The only way this would work for them imo is if they provided demos on all games and did more directs but even then they would still lose sales without people like you

by destruct in the multiplayer experience, I think they mean for example intentionally leaving the match if you’re the host kicking everybody off or using cheats and hacks

I understand your thinking here, but disagree. He is under no obligation to Nintendo and purchased the OLED legally, IMO he should be able to do what he wants with it.

Well, Nintendo’s rules regarding moral violations strike me as immediately problematic. Whose “morals” are we supposed to follow here? Let me use “Breath of the Wild” as an example. There is a certain area that Link can only enter by crossdressing. As a transgender female myself, I have no problem with this at all, but conservative Christians might object on “moral” grounds because they view crossdressing in a more negative light. Now suppose I record a video that shows Link gaining access to the area in question via crossdressing and then post that video on UA-cam. Suppose then that a person who opposes crossdressing of any kind complains to Nintendo about my video. Would such action on my part be censured by Nintendo even though crossdressing is REQUIRED in order to gain access to this area of the game? Morals are such a grey area that I can see issues like this popping up all the time. Would it then be within the realm of possibility that Nintendo could ban “Breath of the Wild” unless the game developers remove crossdressing as a requirement to access this part of the game? If that were to happen, people would start lining up on both sides of the issue and it would prevent people from remaining neutral on the issue and ultimately detract from their enjoyment of the game.
I think it’s great that Nintendo has rules regarded immoral and offensive content at least Nintendo is the only one thing about that. Don’t see Microsoft and Sony do anything like that.
