Just an announcement. I will be releasing a collection with several flute tunes in collaboration with guitarists and pianists. Watch for the Harvest Extended Play Album this weekend!
*Beautiful* ~ I looked up the Phrygian scale to see what it is. An Eastern style with a Jazzy lilt ~ I like this as Jazz is a favourite. I went to Sound Cloud to sign up to listen to you and comment if possible....got a little lost in the 'cloud'...I will try again they will not let me comment on your music there. The Albums with your friend are AWESOME !! Sorry his name does not come to mind right now....Maybe Neil..? Brian ? Sorry about this. It is a *GRACE that you will donate this Thunder Bear Flute to a Vet*. *Vets ARE OUR Real LIVE MAMA and PAPA Bears* ! *Thanks Chris* You always MAKE My day and This Worlds' Day ~ More Harmonious and E~X~P~A~N~S~I~V~E~ with your *Heart* *WIND* and *SOUL* ~ ~ *Blessings to ALL* ~ Suse & Crew *Vancouver ISLAND BC CANADA* ~*~
@@SuseV8 There’s a lot here. The Phrygian scale is popular among jazz and rock musicians, and it is used in movies where an “orientalist” vibe is needed. SoundCloud requires a sign-up to comment, I believe. I post much more frequently here, for now. You may be thinking of several composers whose backing tracks I play with; Richard Brooner, Peter Dubner, Dave Tate. The flute community shares by exchanging and recirculating flutes. My mentor Bill Hughes teaches flute making to vets and distributes flutes, so every flute is matched with its proper person. Whew! I like answering questions!
