- Disney's Contemporary Resort BBQ Pizza at Contempo Cafe Disney World Florida is a quick Disney dining review of the Contempo Cafe Restaurant at Contemporary Resort of Walt Disney World in Orlando. If you like BBQ pizza, this one is pretty good... minus the bitter, nasty apple slaw they put on top. Definitely take the time to pluck those apple pieces off and toss them in the trash where they belong. After you do that, enjoy the pizza and tell us what you think. Been to the Contemp a couple of times and pretty much enjoyed it, but not anything to brag about! Especially for bitter apples on a pizza!!!😮😅

We are not usually big fans of restaurants experimenting with our pizza. It rarely turns out well. This apple ale is a good example of that. I am glad the flatbread was still good once you removed the offending apples. Thanks for the review!
I'm thankful the vinegar taste didn't transfer onto the pizza. A chef that creates nasty offerings should try it before serving guests. Bitter apples on pizza. 🤮 It was good beyond the vinegar apples. Thank you for watching and commenting.

It tastes worse than it sounds. Those apples were terribly bitter and literally gagged us. Apparently the chef never tried it when he came up with the idea. Lol. Thank you for watching and commenting.

The Contemporary has some really great food options. I do wish they had a bit more selection in quick service. We are usually in a hurry heading to our next adventure so we don't often take time to sit for a full service meal. Thank you for watching and commenting.

Can't picture any apples on any pizza. Don't like the day before any flight. 🐸
I didn't expect the apples to be so awful and bitter. It was terrible. The pizza without the bitter apples was great. We fly so often now I don't get as worried as I once did. Having to get up at 4am is rough though after a long day and late to bed. That's hard. We do countdowns on our phones for travel days. We think that's exciting. Lol. I can kinda see where they were going with this. Maybe a bit of tart to offset a sweet BBQ sauce, but sounds like it didn't work out as planned!
I'm not sure it would have been so bad with apples but the apples were soaked in something so bitter it literally hit your gag reflex. It makes me gag just thinking about it. Once the bitter topping was removed it was really good. Thank you for watching and commenting.
