Doc shows a quick tip on keeping grass clippings from clogging your riding mower. Most clippings can be wet and the inside of your bagging tube gets old, rough and dirty. Use a quick wax to clean the interior of the tube and it will reduce clogs by up to 50%. - Навчання та стиль
Thankyou for your feedback re; preventing grass clipping blockage through catcher pipes!
Thumbs up from Australia.

That clogging issue has begun driving me absolutely crazy. I'm trying this today!
Thanks for the wax tip on the JD bagger chute!
Good advice on keeping the lawn clipping tubes clear. will give it a try. Bought a bag of humichar; can't believe what it's doing to the yard. Live in Western South Dakota. Growing tall fescue. Been high and dry here this summer. Nice change, the grass is growing, lush, and dormant spots are recovering.
Nice... waxing the tube is really important.
Thank you thank you again. You are a wise man. This video has changed my life. You rock any other hacks you can share I’m interested.
Great ideas. Thanks and luv the intro.
Man I'll have to try that super compost soon that stuff is awesome
Never thought to wax the interior of my grass catcher tube. Great tip. My rubber gasket that surrounds the tube at the exit end has split and I need to replace it. Very few hours on it. Frustrating.
thank you put a bagger on today first run and empty the fall leaves were great. 2nd one it would not pick up one freakin leaf. the neighbor that helped me put the bagger on came over, took the tobe off at the bottom and it was clogged. did another run, emptied two full bags,,, then would not pick up a leaf. So Every ten minutes empty bags and unhook the tube - that is NUTS!! Gonna try the wax - THANKS!!
Love it Doc!!!!!!!
Helping ones in need,
cool
Hey Doc I have what could be considered native Bermudagrass that has been in my yard since the 50’s. Can you cut it low like the newer turf variety? It is so thick my push mower gets stuck on top of the grass wheels just spin I have to actually push it off the top. If I wanted turf type would I need to kill what I have and start over.
Great idea with the waxing thanks for sharing. Do you think we should wax the bottom of the rotary mowers? I have a new mower and may try this to see if this helps with repelling moisture or grass clipping.
You could... may not last that long however. But does work.
Can you show us how you prune that sky pencil holly??
The Lazy Gardener!😂😂😂
rain x could work?
wow ... you was not lying about being a lazy gardener!
Just out of curiosity how often do you re-apply your ‘super compost’ to your raised beds?!
I don't.... only when replanting.
Hey Doc, how are you keeping pickleworms out of your cucumbers?
Love your Vids Doc. Gardener/Landscaper myself and I find them very enjoyable and relaxing. Has anyone ever told you that you look kind of like Mel Gibson? :D
Girlfriend says I look like him... wife says I just look old.

Hi Doc.
Thank you for all your videos .
I have a question about weed killing. In the begining of the year (March) I laid down new bermuda and I have a lot of weeds right now , espesially Crabgrass. Can I mix together : image Kills Nutsedge Concentrate, BioAdvanced All-In-One Lawn Weed and Crabgrass Killer Garden Herbicide , BASF Drive XLR8 Herbicide Kills CRABGRASS , Southern Ag Amine 24-D Weed Killer and spray all of this mix on the Bermude grass??? Will I kill my bermuda lawn??? Or I shoud use every chemicalI separate? I am planing to do this in November. Please , advice .
Thanks!
If it's your first year I would be very gentle and just live with some weeds. When first frost hits then spray them and in the late winter follow our pre-emergent routine.
Thank You!
Any product recommendations for picking up clippings without a bag or John deer?

So do you have zoysia grass ?
So hydrophobic paint or wax, after a fine sand..
I can’t scrap or I would my front yard is full of nut ledge my next door neighbor is the shits . I have used Humichar and pgf completely every week I try to cut 1 inch that is as low as I can do.I am going to fertilize with 15-15-15 and water the hell out of it .And try to have the grass choke out the nutsluget and Milk wind what do you think. I don’t have a reel mower.
Nutsedge needs to be treated and can't be choked out. It has "NUTS" under the ground.
i want some garden veggies!!!
I just got a ace on your green, lol
Grass clippings could make a pretty good glue
I read that the growth regulator thickens the grass. Is that your experience doc?
In that video.... I discuss what happens. Look for the three ring board. www.howtowithdoc.com/lawn-growth-regulator-granular/
Do you take the rotten veggies and compost them?
Yes
I think I’ll also wax the underside walls of my deck.
Just love your videos. Unfortunately, I’m in New York so I don’t have Bermuda grass. Is Humichar and PGF Complete good for cool lawn grasses as well as southern grasses? How can I find out about your background? You’ve obviously had a golf course background. Love your green. Can’t wait till it’s a 13!
Yes... all lawn types.
It Don't actually do anything unless you already have a pre-existing layer of Wax. The results that you got were completely coincidental you actually have to go through it with paste wax and then you can go through with the spraywax and then the detailer
Give your extras to a food pantry!
I don’t know why but I really want to steal your (Lazy gardener) and start up my own UA-cam channel you don’t mind do you?
Have at it.
