Such a close finish. Absolutely amazing considering the difference between the routings of Malizia and Teamwork. This is what makes ocean racing so addictive. Congratulations Team Malizia. Once again you have had us on the edge of our seats. 💐🍾🥂

Amazing that IMOCAs have such a close finish in this second major race. When the round the world race stages had several close finishes I thought it was a fluke. I still can't figure why the Dali foils would tighten the results.

I think you overtook for 6th but the tracker stats did not keep up with map position so waiting for official. Still - great race and exciting finish for 1-7!! WAIT!!! Tracker finally updated to show Teamwork took 6th by 2 minutes! Looking forward to interviews and arrival video.

Congratulations. Yes, it was close but Malizia's route was better for sure. Was the one extra tack near Rocher du Diamant the extra 1:05 lost to 6th place? Curious but just a WAG!
Tracker frustrating to “replay” the close finish. Was the tracker for Vendee better?
@@cherylteach-in70berent5 Yes, just the same mess. The code is poorly developed around the pause, play and speed of video area. Notice that the clock font causes these buttons to move/jump around. How sad that this existed on Vendee and the Ocean Race and still persists. How can it be that nobody has fixed this?
My solution: play the video and try to slow the play speed down as slowly as you need, pause the video and manually move the time button to the part of the track you wish to watch. That is how I found the extra tack that Boris and Will added.
