Amazing work. I wanna make my own sneakers before the end of the year. I had that dream since I was a kid and I have in my memory the first pair of nikes I had. I want to have those colors . I am 41 now. Never is too late. You are an inspiration for many people that want to make those sneaker dreams come true.
Amen man. I always wanted a big collection to have and wear. Now I want to get into making them myself. I love to build and fix things as I do maintenance for a job. This looks so satisfying to do. What an amazing craft to get into. Follow your dreams and may they come true for you. ❤
great vid, those are some serious skills! its fantastic to see a serious DIY approach to shoe making / leather work like this and then watch what a pro like Brian The ShoeMaker with an old school shop and equipment does...both of them very young but passionate about their craft!
Excellent job! You're trully an artisan. Such high level craftsmanship, such high quality product. Congrats! May i only suggest u do a smaller double stitching? It will give a more premium look to the piece. The current single amd wide stitches give the impression u tried to save time.
Wow, wondrous job man, those shoes looks so fancy and of course have a really good quality, handmade is the best. Thanks to share this video. 👍👏😍🙌💥🔥🚀🐱👤🤙✔
man bruh this is so dope! deff subbing. i plan on getting into this craft my self eventually. keep going ill deff be watching. maybe consider some tutorials in the future.
I can answer you the question. It takes a lot of skills to make a shoe from scratch. It’s an expensive hobby. I started in January of this year and spent around $1000+ on materials, my sewing machines and thread. I barely finished one shoe 2 weeks ago. So yeah takes a lot of skill and a lot of money
It don’t cost much at all you can work with what you got. It’s all about your will inside. If your a slow learner than yes it’s difficult. But anyone can do it.
I am lucky to have a local leather dealer I go to. I get whole sides of leather for under 100, so if you shop around, you can get started material wise for cheap. I also don't use a sewingmachine (yet) I use calipers and a sewing awl, the good old school way. You limit yourself in these endeavors. Be critical,be honest, and have fune
@@sosinati3358 I too had a Chinese patcher I got for $80 on Amazon but when I started I didn’t about sdcustom or shoe surgeon. I saw Maxio vid on his 85s and I thought I can do the same. When I started, i never bought any patterns. I deconstructed a pair of game royals 1s and tried to make a shoe. I didn’t know i had to add more leather to the bottom for lasting. I was just going off what I saw and the little knowledge I knew. I spent money like crazy on leather. If I knew the things I know now, I would’ve not spend a lot of money. Someone has to start somewhere. This is just my experience on shoemaking. Everyone else is different
those are awesome! I was curious though. I signed up for the shoe surgeon class to make an Air Jordan 1 and in the materials list he doesn't say we need a lasting post but we do need lasts. Is that something that isn't 100% needed?

Their were a couple tricks here I’ve never seen.
Anyone with an idea on where to get the patterns???😊
What sewing machine did you use?
If you can't buy Jordan, make your own Jordan
Cool how you learn this?

Lasts are 100% needed. It is impossible without it. You can get them on shoesurgeon.com but the lasting post is not needed
@@DesmondSilva what do you use instead of a lasting post?
@@3AsianBoi your hands, but it is much more difficult
I sell patterns and lasting posts on Etsy
www.etsy.com/shop/customsneakerpattern/
You don’t need a lasting post, just be super careful not to bend the shoe too much when removing the uppers
