Nothing dumb about it Kendra, and you're absolutely right. I was so impressed watching Dan back down that dirt road on the dairy farm, especially over those soft muddy spots. He's an excellent driver, and a very hard worker
Kendra, it's just like anything else, you get used to it. When I first started driving, I was all nervous about backing up. But eventually t got pretty good at it, and used to enjoy a challenge of backing up somewhere tricky. I just never liked backing up when there's traffic around, for example having to back into a dock off a busy street. Once I tore a door off a trailer backing into a dock that had a big pillar under a canopy, it was dark under there and bright sun in my eyes outside. Didn't realize how close I was to the pillar until it was too late. Live and learn!

The old Frigidaire plant changing with the times. From electric transformers and battery chargers in the 30’s to Studebaker cars in the 60’s to freezers since the 70’s to Bobcats. Spent many days and nights at that loading dock moving freezers on a forklift. Safe travels Dan

Another great video Dan. Your music you play fits perfect. I know music was a big part of my trucking. Driving down the big road on a bright sunny day and new adventures awaited me. I would have the music a playing and it all was timed for 65 miles per hour. For me back then it did not get any better than that. Happy trails Dan, be safe and I hope you get home to take Theresa to the fair….
You'll make some guys real happy to get their machines. Every unit in this video was probably sold 6 months ago. Those won't sit on the dealer lot for second.

I 80 thorough Joliet had a bad accident yesterday. Cattle hauler crashed and cattle were running all over the place. It shut east and west bound 80 down for hours.

Skid steers are my favorite freight to haul. I almost always go through that ‘tube’ with my front chain. But I always put 2 binders on the back of each one. (Assuming they are under 10K pounds, over 10K requires 4 points of securement.)

Had a bad day yesterday my oil pressure sensor went was stuck on the Jersey turnpike for 5 ,6 hours all fixed now. Bull all fixed now. Great load Dan. Give em hell Dan DONT let em breathe. Safe travels
Big dairy farm. Those are slurry pits. One of my father's Holsteins fell into one. She had to be washed down several times after she was out.
If it's a little too Heavy on this front you can drop one off to me!

Is it possible to have that lift axle on the trailer activated from the cab instead of having to get out and walk back?
Don't ever haul a load of those tires they put on those silage piles. Take my word for it. A mess to strap and gotta stop every 30 miles to tighten them up. Loads always shifting.

Those slurry lagoons are not something you would want to slide into. And we know who is going to get those pipes out and there is a good chance it won't be the dairy farm owner.

Why is it they never ship with the buckets on them ? So a truck comes and just gets buckets ? I guess where they sell them separately maybe if you want a bucket , forks , or other attachments . Stay safe keep the video's coming .
I would be shocked if buckets and machines come out of the same facility.
Buckets, blades , forks, cost extra my dude especially to the application the buyer wants. Their going to a dealer.
They don’t make the buckets. Totally different place.
I haul skid steers fairly regularly. The answer is, it depends. Lots of times the bucket is attached. I’ve hauled them with the buckets all loaded as a group on the front of my trailer. I’ve also hauled them this way, with no buckets in any of them.
I suppose it’s however the customer ordered them.
There are so many attachments made to outfit the front, you'd be amazed. There is no standard bucket. The dealers outfit them when they take delivery. They're all made to quick-change with some tabs and a lever. The attachments are shipped via LTL's such as Con_Way and SAIA etc.

How's the diet coming al of attack . The exercise you do in bed ,1, get small pillow that will fit in the small of your back (4in.)thick, Your laying on it ,and you do small crunches , as you raise up exhale all the air out of your stomach . this will strengthen your muscles in the gut, do 3 sets of twenty , take a rest between (1,2 minutes) for more effect raise your legs afoot and half or so.The second thing to do is eat garlic sandwiches.This will clean out your intestinal tract , and kick start your liver Make your garlic sandwich like this 2 pieces of whole wheat bread spread heavy on both pieces mayonnaise dices up 8teardrops of diced garlic ,then don't eat for 5 to 24 hrs whatever you can do . The will kill all bad bacteria and you won't be hungry all the time .oh also cutout amuch sugar as possible and of course have a good trip
