      @@symoneprice4980 ok first of all. The very first quote in the video is about how the barrel eyed fish uses its vision to catch prey. Also many deep sea fish do have vision, their eyes and pupils are made larger to absorb as much light as possible. It really depends how deep you go. Not all deep sea fish are live right at the very bottom in extreme depths. In most animals down in the extreme depths are not fish at all and are instead of all classifications.

    Am I the only person completely fascinated and exhilarated with joy from observing nature that instantly deflates when I see creatures being captured and taken from their natural habitat just to satisfy our curiosity or use them for our own needs? It's not worth it. We should satiate our needs for knowledge only in ways that we would feel comfortable with if it was happening to us or our loved ones.

    One really cool fact about Dragonfish is that they have a "invisible flashlight"! Most deep sea creatures can't see the red colour, wich is why a lot of animals down there have a dark red colouration, to pretty much blend their silhouette with the water around. But the Dragonfish are one of the few exceptions wich can detect it, so it emits a red light from special photophores located below the eye to iluminate and locate prey or predators without showing off it's position!

    How do they create this bioluminescence light ? What makes these deep sea animals create such bioluminescence?

    • @anantphatake2417
      @anantphatake2417 4 роки тому +2

      Ever heard of an enzyme called luciferase and the substrate called luciferin? Well they are the reason we see this glowing light on these creatures!

    I'm just afraid that these species may not survive being taken out of their deep dark habitats because of scientist's interference😣
