I am indeed. I know my videos may make it look like I’m just some guy in a bedroom, but nothing could be further from the truth! The Tassie locals more or less forced me onto a stage a few years ago, and I’m forever grateful for that! Since my UA-cam channel has blown up, the amount of additional help and support they’ve been offering has been very humbling! I love Tasmania, and everyone who lives here! Awesome people :)
@@robthebloke is Tassie an "Australia's island state" as Google suggests, or do you put some other meaning in it? Sorry for the possible ignorance of mine =) Greetings from Ukraine, mate!🤝
You know what I love about this? Typically when you see people playing analog synth rigs, it's in some dark, dank warehhouse. But to see Rob just jamming, in a field, enjoying the fuck out of himself, nobody else around, it's so refreshing. Great set mate!
There were actually about 150 people there for this one. This set was about midday on the Sunday, after the sound system had been cranking constantly since Friday arvo. The dance floor directly in front of me had a fairly decent turn out, but to be honest, most people were looking a little worse for wear, including myself to be honest! If I’d been in the audience, I’d have been pretty annoyed if someone had filmed me cutting shapes on a dance floor after 2 nights with no sleep. That’s why the camera was pointing towards the toilets :) The cloud9 crew have however invited me back for another set soon, but this time we’ll film on a Friday, when everyone feels fresh, when everyone knows cameras are rolling, and we’ll be able to show you how stunning this part of the world truly looks :)
This performance is a testament to the beauty of modular synthesis. It beautifully demonstrates that a well-composed masterpiece doesn't require the glitz and glamour of a packed stadium or the intense energy of a super-hyped audience to be appreciated. The skill and artistry on display here are truly remarkable, offering an incredible auditory experience in the most unassuming of settings. That said, you should be on the big stage as this performance would put any stadium on fire. Thanks for sharing.
@@darrinsiberia Condensation mainly and the elements, humify and such are main things people don't bring rigs outside. Clearly C9 NEEDS to show the biz : D worth the risk
@@mastersunfishwith a car mainly ;) I have literally had someone spill a pint of beer on this rig before. And also it helps if it rains. Which it did do, about 5 mins after this set finished :)
