- A friend of mine Saul @saulnice brought me over an Uncut Gem from Columbia. Were you able to guess what stone it was and the price? The answer is it's a $250,000 Emerald. Much appreciated from Yussi himself

The Colombian miner who got paid $15 for this and sees this video 👁️👄👁️
What you care KG?
$15 is probably what he makes all month maybe.
@@aaronpetrovich1164 No, nearly 75-80% of these come from slaves of the cartel and drug trafficking industry. Both diamonds, gold, silver (recently) and emerald trades are notorious for being connected with drug trafficking organizations. The people mining these likely get their lives as payment. Don’t mine, don’t live. They’ll kill you if you don’t slave away.
Some of those guys get killed for trying pocket those same gems
Let cut it open
To be honest, the uncut gem, in its raw state, was way much beautiful than after it's been extracted and polished..
All gems should be kept in its natural form. Too many gems have been cut apart
I always use unpolished ones
I carry my uncut gem around my neck everyday it’s a flex
Totally agree!!
@@ashkev01 thats awesomee!! What kind of crystal is it ?

Honestly that rock raw with the emerald it tough lol that geological swag
thought I was the only one like why cut it all the way out the rock now how I see how it comes naturally
How tf did 136 people understand what you were saying? and to the other guy 6 people is too many to like that gibberish your talking. Damn, people need to write.

@Tresor Kapuku You must be slow? COLUMBIA is not in AFRICA!!! ColumbiaEmerald

Emeralds were a big money laundering operation. Traffickers would buy mines and export low grade emeralds as high grade to wholesalers in the U.S. and then transfer the funds offshore. The Feds had to learn the emerald industry to inspect the emeralds and verify if they were actually worth the inflated prices. The famous trafficker El Gacha from Narcos had a major war with an arch rival the Emerald Czar who operated a private military force. Be nice to people wearing emeralds....

@@Sulucnumoh420 I'll be real with you, the jewellery business is dirty as fuck. This guy's about as legit as they come, everyone fucks everyone - my friend runs a brand called jwel & her stock is gained by renting a random community hall for a sit-down where she 'values' item and under pays old people who bring her their heirlooms, just takes it to Tracy from Dickinson's real deal, who has a jewellery shop like this one in Harrogate - she then scraps the gold/silver, prizes out the gems, gives em back to my friend, then melts the metal into ingots & keeps the nice pieces for resale, Tracy screws my friend, my friend screws old people & whoever buys her pieces at a 200% markup - she once bought an actual tooth with a gold filling off someone... You have to understand the entire business is slimey not just this guy.
Sold !! Gorgeous color . Love in the air
YOU ARE SO AWESOME KNOWING ALL ABOUT THAT BEAUTIFUL ROCK !!!
Finally a video I really enjoyed from these guys
Emeralds are far rarer than diamonds, but perhaps not quite as versatile simply due to their color, so they’ve always remained lower on peoples purchase priority. They’re absolutely beautiful 🤩
Anyyyy colored gemstone > diamond
@@tanhuulusoy fr even lab colored diamonds cost more than some natural diamonds
@@tanhuulusoyThat’s stupid, you’re just hating on diamonds to try to sound quirky🤣

They are worth the value we give them.
Exactly. Nothing is rare about them
😂 the market gives them.. not the people talking in vid.. they are full of crap
Rarity and beauty determines their value
All top dollar minerals are appraised.
Actually, they are worth what the market will bear. Gems are graded by quality and color. Rarity also makes them more valuable.

Well you can't get one stone in wholesale price
That emerald is $70-200 per ct maximum
Lol that's what I was thinking. These dudes are theives.
Yeah that one ain't even that shiny I've seen way better looking ones for 1/3 the price
@@Cinnamon535 The shininess of a gem isn't the only factor for it's value. Color, size and clarity are also variables with size and clarity having the most influence. Larger gems like the ones shown are quite rare compared to smaller ones so they go for far more per carat. Clear gems with almost no occlusions are rather uncommon as well and drastically increase value.
It all depends on the market so i wont necessarily call them thieves...
Agree

The clarity on the Natural Stone was much higher than clarity on those cut stones. Also I'm wondering how much of the gem goes below the surface into the rock. Quarter of a million dollars is pretty outrageous.
Yea its hard to tell because we cant see the faceted gemstones natural states. They could be treated to enhance the color and hide inclusions. Also, stones are cut specifically to reflect the color of the internal stone back to the person looking at it. "Windows" of transparency that go through a cut gemstone are the result of poor faceting and devalue the gemstone. But the uncut stone is so transparent you can see straight through it onto the matrix along with all of its inclusions, so they would facet the stone to hide all of that. Its a crazy price tag but the best quality emeralds come from colombia as far as i know. And notice he pointed out the other two were not colombian despite being quite large emeralds.
BEAUTIFUL!!
GOD BLESS YOU BROTHA TRAX 🙏🏽
unfortunately, that raw emerald wasn't gem quality with all of the fractures in it.
Once it's cut and polished
Most emeralds have fractures it's just how emeralds are
Good video man I like that you brought it to the Raw part of the gyms

I think that's the value of the uncut gem.
Is there more emerald under the grey, concrete coloured/looking rock
Max made a video of another uncut emerald, the value of uncut/Art is worth more.

I hope a struggling Colombian found that and was able to sell it for a grip to them or somebody linked to them going up the ladder
I don’t think this guy buys his rocks straight from the source as with most jewelers. It’s a pretty long ladder.
I like how he asks how much is 3000 times 7.😅

You can grow emeralds in labs. They aren't hosted in rocks though, they're just crystal.
The ones in the case look like some of those eBay emeralds! I actually bought a few! They were like five bucks each.
Get it checked lmfao they’re usually dyed glass them boys from Africa /Pakistan WILL sell u w.e

Emerald is my favorite gem because it’s my birthstone I had a emerald that was about for me, and it was say it in white gold with two diamonds on the outside, and it was stolen along with all my other jewelry! I had planned to leave at 10 minute oldest granddaughter she was born in May as well. Absolutely beautiful those stones are.

Value is determined by clarity/transparency, color, locality, cut, and carats.
People can be Gems too.. They just need cutting and Polishing. Cut the bad deeds and bad company and polish with good deeds, thoughts and actions.
