Thought I would love Dubai, but ended up picking up Shanghai. Needed a fresh-ish cardamom to layer with and I heard it was similar to Orange Bitters. Really does have that vibe. Haven't tried Ancestral Papyrus, Leather Jardin, Incense Sunset (similar to Eau de Citron Noir??) or Amber & Fig Cashmere which I hear is also pretty good, but my current JM favs are still Bergamot & Leather Spritz, Vetiver Pamplemousse, Jo's Rhubarb and Ebony Wood. Can always count on Zara to provide us with tons of new releases every year. Jo really upped their fragrance game.

the elegantly Tokyo hit me the moment I tested it even though I did not notice it was a collection that was created by Jo Malone. I just knew it defo had her hand involved. Made me remember Orange Blossom.
I think these, and many of Jo Malone's fragrances are meant to be mixed and matched. I think she intentionally created simple and linear fragrances so that each individual gets to create their own unique combo. I do it and I end up with more complex and interesting outcomes.
Elegantly tokyo is really good. Airy lily + light crisp jasmine, not indolic. It tricks my nose to smell like a sweet perfume but up close it is not sweet smelling perfume. Very lovely. My coworker asked me who brought a freaking jasmine garland into the office. And I answered it was my new perfume.
i wanna try out the Tokyo one after seeing your review! Seoul sounds nice as well. I really like ebony wood from the previous collections.

Gracefully Madrid is my favourite, followed by Fashionably London I think they are fresh and Elegant.

I have Fleur d'Oranger from the Jo Malone collection. It’s great! It’s like a cross between Neroli Portofino and JM Orange Blossom, but it’s far more linear with the usual 3 note composition they seem to use. But it’s very fresh and bright and a great dumb reach.

Fashionably London is my favorite and I just bought Stunningly Venice since it smells like PDM Meliora at a fraction of the price!

My faves are London and Dubai. London not surprisingly as I love rose and its kind of classic sensual rose. Dubai is nice wearable leather, soft and friendly.
Without smelling any, I blind bought London. The only two they had were Seoul and London.
I like it, but tends to lean a little masculine because of the musk.
It's addictive though. And I smell it all day on me.. Good value.
Sebastian how about checking Zara Warm Black? Commonly said to be in the ball park of Tobacco Vanille and Herod. It is still sold by Zara, although in a new amber bottle. I have the original black bottle and find it great. The one in the new bottle smells very similar to me to say the least, although from memory (which means, not very reliably) did not seem identical, would need to smell them side by side.

Zara have released some solid fragrances recently. Rose Gourmand was superb.

Tried them in store and brought home the tokyo one. I did felt the exact same feeling about the sandalwood. I remember loving venice and also shanghai. They are all good but not that mind-blowing to me. The tokyo was the more attractive one and it stays on my skin like no other from zara

I love the Studio but I think the shot would benefit if you lit the background. Your collection would shine with some more light. Not that it matters ... I love all of your videos.
Nice review . Luckily my set was all intact . My faves Shanghai, London and Tokyo . Shanghai stayed on my clothes for a long period of time ! Good longevity considering the prices .

Happy to see your reaction to it. And you've intrigued me with the London one. I think that whole set would be a great grab-bag sort of Christmas gift for, like, a whole family, especially a family interested but new to fragrances, so that there could be something to appeal to everybody in the mix.
That could be an interesting video for you to do: gift-sets for newbies or whole newbie-families, with a little something for everybody in them.
It is a great looking background.
My order of preference for this collection: London -> Dubai -> Madrid -> Venice -> Tokyo -> New York. Haven't tried Seoul and Shanghai yet but Seoul sounds really nice.
Just got this whole set for 30 euros during Zara's sale. I think it's very worth it for that price. I'm excited :))
I ordered this set around Black Friday as well and had the same problem with the inserts that hold the bottles. All of mine were torn or bent to some extent.
I ordered this set along with Jo’s Rhubarb, and that is the one I can’t stop wearing.

My favorite is Fashionably London! Before I purchased I heard it was a dupe for Delina. I don’t necessarily agree though… this one tingles the nose more. But to be fair, I’ve never found a Delina dupe that comes close. Favorite Zara scent in general is Ebony Wood. Smells like a cardamom hug.
Alhambra makes a Deline dupe that's exact and it's $45.

I work for Zara in the UK, I don’t usually wear Zara fragrances but my favourite from the very first Zara jo Malone collection is Ebony wood which was introduced in 2019 besides this one of our bestselling fragrance in men’s collection is vibrant leather which everybody thinks smells like Creed Aventus but I don’t think it does😁 we also do hand creams and body lotion from Zara jo Malone collection.
I think Vibrant Leather smells pretty close to Aventus. The original batches did at least, but I hear it been reformulated (last year?) and isn't as good anymore. Vibrant Leather Summer (and Vibrant Leather Cologne, which is the same juice in a different bottle as I'm sure you know 😂) is also very close to Dior Homme Cologne, especially in the opening but the dry down isn't quite as good. The new one called Lasting Desire is a pretty close clone of Invictus Victory too.
They reformulated? Too bad, but I have to try it.. thanks for the info

My box was also damaged and the label was off. Luckily I was able to just stick it back on. Also no cute post card. Such a shame. I wasn’t impressed with the stunningly Venice one I ordered. Too light, no projection.
Do you think that Venice is a dupe for Rouge Trafalgar and Shanghai a dupe for Orange Bitters ?
Wow I was way off the mark on your Facebook post regarding these fragrances 😆 I guessed new york which was a doozy lol. Clearly not a "creamy" sandalwood, but rather the dry santal. Oopsie!
My fave is new york & tokyo.. i dont know how santal 33 smells like but if i had to choose, i pick zara for the price 😂 plus it last longer than any of my zara parfumes. Tokyo doesnt really impress me at first but if i smell it more and compare it to the other it won bcz it smells expensive u know like not a kind of smell that everyone wear.. And now im curious about venice, seoul and paris

hey Sebastian have You heard about YET ANOTHER 4 different Zara & Jo Malone releases?-- Leather Jardin , Universal Oud , Ancestral Papyrus and Incense Sunset?...I seriously CAN'T keep with their releases... seems like they really don't care about the info release..Zara website is the most confusing thing ever- If you don't know the exact name of what You are looking for You will NOT find it under perfume or fragrance category...aaanyway-- Leather Jardin seems to be this floral leather thing that kind of resembles Cuir De Russie by Chanel... and Ancestral Papyrus smells very fresh and green... let us know if You will manage to get hold of them ;)

This collection is a steal. Got the 10ml first and ended up buying the 100ml of 6 of them. I wish they lasted a bit longer.

I was so disappointed by warm rich and addictive by Zara that I don’t even want to try them.
Everyone seemed so enjoying it, but I found it plain and alcoholic for a warm fragrance. With this collection I feel it would be -again- an irritant alcoholic kind of smell.
And I don’t feel your usual enthusiasm while reviewing them. What are your thoughts on that ?

Zara is infamous for damaged goods. Really sloppy. Undeniably beautiful fragrances though, they've got something for every nose. Great review! I have 5 of them myself with magnificently dubai coming in as my favorite of the bunch. 😁
