This place is not totally finished, I'm sure they'll have washing machines and probably dryers. They have a swimming pool, yes 👍
Very small flats for the money could not live in the one bedroom flat, I think, overpriced. Would look for older flats with bigger sq footage
Yes, they are very compact, but once all the amenities are finished, it will be a better deal.
All condos after you buy it you still pay a monthly fee for upkeep. And that is the 45 baht / sqm she said.
So if you buy a condo that is 30sqm you will pay 30*45 / months (1350 / month) this fee is to cover the upkeep for staff and common areas.
Correct! just over 16,000 a year. Still pretty cheap.
Were there any car parks, the large one would be ok but 4.8m is expensive imo the bedrooms are small
Yes, there will be a car park. The rooms were small but I think the amenities will be top notch (when finished)

I was expecting to see the whole place on open day 🤣. Most of it was still closed off. At least I got to dust off the old polo 🤣.
Those price dont seem like pre-construction prices. And personally, some of the furniture is fugly as all heck. And the towel racks mounted right in the shower😂. Couple of hotties strolling by. Thanks for the video.

Rooms are nice enough, but the area doesn't look real walkable. I'd prefer something closer, or even in, the Old Town. Thinking about starting at the Smith Residence when I move in July and look around from there.
Yes, you would probably need transport living here. Smith is a good location and very popular.
Agree, for the same price I think you can get newish (less than 10 years old) units nearer to old town, niman or one of the malls. Unless it's a big developer, being able to see the condition/maintenance of the place after a couple of years may actually be better than buying brand new.
From what little I have seen. The units do not appeal to me.
Price is to high for what you get in my opinion.
They are on the small side. Not sure if can grumble about the price, once you get access to everything onsite also.

Wayne I be honest I prefer some of those older buildings they are bigger and have more character it’s the same in England I think the older buildings are stronger bigger

1st condo - The space between the bottom of the bed and wall lis non-existent…TERRIBLE DESIGN for double occupancy. Corner condo - much better

Is it possible to rent a secluded undeveloped spot, say 1/2 hour motorcycle ride out of the city, long-term 15 - 20 year lease (5,000 THB/month?,) then build a small, well insulated, air-conditioned,1 bedroom hut, and then have full legal right to live there as a non-Thai?
Any thing is possible in Thailand.
I like the second one the best, even if it's smaller than the first one. I don't understand why so many Asian countries put their toilets in glass enclosures.😂Either leave it in the open area or enclose it where nobody could see you. It's okay for a romantic couple, but traveling with friends, most women won't like that.
Yes, I liked the end room one. The toilet is a bit strange haha. I suppose the toilet would normally be in the shower room, but with a seperate private divide.
Wayne i would like to suggest you check out Dalat in April when Thailands temps can boil yer eggs if you know what I mean 😮
I've heard good thing about Dalat, I might be going back to Vietnam soon. Yep, that brutal heat is just around the corner.
Kitchen needs to be a closed off room they totally messed up the layout, when ya Mrs cooks some Thai food it's gonna stink out the whole living room, and the toilet in the shower is about as luxury as a Singh is to a Leo. And another big problem is there's no damn outlets at the kitchen I didnt see the bathroom they probably forgot to put them in there too. How it won number 1 is there were only 5 entrants lol I'm making that up but probably not far from the truth. I will say though the finishings do look nice though
k i looked again so the rooms werent all the same ey, some had outlets some didnt some had toilet in bathroom some didnt, very random

really nice bathrooms but room sizes far too small (for the asking prices). Was there balconies? i might have missed them.

I actually lived on that street for 6 months (Arise condo) now i moved to another place but still in Chiang Mai. Can recommend that street for somebody that don't like to be in the middle of the pack but still very close to everything.
Nice, I know that place. I go to Much Room Cafe a lot and take this road often. Yes, it's a good area and easy to get to town or Airport.
Too small and over priced. I'm guessing the fees are per sq mtr of your apartment.

Every flat comes with a washing machine, but never with a dryer; do they even have dryers in Thailand? It's a humid country: air drying could take a while.
They are probably washer/dryers.
They have some dryers in the shops, but no one really needs one here. It takes 10 minutes to dry clothes in the sun. 👍
@@WalkAboutWayne Someone replied that there are single unit washer-dryers; I looked it up, and it's true, so that's possible.
It doesn't take very long at all to air dry laundry here, unless it's actually raining.
