Girl, now you gonna make me cry 😭 I’ve been Christian my whole life but I’ve been struggling to always be on fire and alive in Jesus. It feels dormant in me. I kinda feel dormant and I’m trying to get into better and healthier habits in general but it’s difficult… I sometimes feel like I need to do this growing alone which is hard when I have to live with mum… The Lord knows my difficulties in life and he knows my heart. Amen that he loves me. All I really need now is to hug Jesus, and let my troubles melt away…

9:13 "Traumatic Aloneness" This one got me so personally, the first time I watched this I CRIED! 😭 When I was little, my mom and siblings were out, and I was supposed to go to the store with my dad. I had a certain amount of time to get ready, but I guess I must have taken to long because suddenly I heard my dad's car start and I ran to the window to see my dad driving off without me. And I FREAKED OUT! I was really little so being left at home alone was really scary for me. I managed to call my mom and tell her what happened, and she gave my dad quite the talkin-too. I didn't fully realize just how traumatic an experience this was until like a decade later when my family was going out and I was running late and for a second, I thought I'd been left behind and I practically had a panic attack. 😱 It's not so much as I hate being alone, I'm an extreme introvert so I kind of enjoy it actually, it's more the whole "Being-left-behind" thing that gets me. 😅

I remember walking home with two of my old best friends who were talking about Turning Red and singing that 4 u song or whatever it was when I told them I wasn’t allowed to watch that movie they told me “You can’t do anything if your a Christian, what are you even able to do, why aren’t you allowed to watch that movie?” Another time I tried telling one of my old best friends (one of the two I was walking home with) that Jesus loved them and he died for them or something like that and she told me she’d only believe if there was scientific proof, I didn’t know what to say. Now a little bit later I know that there is scientific proof that God is real!
