    Nice Video! 👍 One piece of advice is, DO NOT FOCUS SO MUCH ON LEVEVELING FAST. Enjoy the game and enjoy the lore it offers. also, if your focused so much on leveling your character fast 1 - 50 so quick, you will never get to experience it properly. It is supposed to be fun. I played ESO when it first released before Morrowind and honestly, it can have you feeling like you need to level up quickly but just have fun and play around with the abilities for a good build for your character. I will however Specify this. The Main quest at the very start of your character alone levels you up throughout the game and by the time your character has explored all of Tamriel, he/she should be around or at level 50 (Which takes you into Champion Level which is explained in-game) and with the new scribing system inside the Gold Road Chapter, If by choice you choose to purchase it. It can give you flexibility and fun. Hope this Helps New Players.

      Yes I love this 👏🏻 I 100% agree and questing is my favorite way to level a character anyway. The stories in this game are so good - very much worth the time!!

    • @bookmagic9641
      @bookmagic9641 Місяць тому +1

      I would just add that the main story is hidden from new players now, it doesnt automatically start them on it anymore, they have to find the hidden figure to get started on it in their alliance main starter zone (Glenumbra, stonefalls, or auridon...somewhere near their main city wayshrines).
      Also your first toon will be level 50 before you even finish your first 2 main alliance zones if you do all the side quests, delves, and guild quests in those 2 main zones...some even before they have completed the first main zone if they do daily random normal dungeons and battleground once above level 10 each day they can.
      So the game is speed leveling you these days compared to the beginning long long drag it took to level up (back then people had to grind to get the next 5 levels to move on to the next zone, and many were barely level 45 after finishing all of their alliance zones plus coldharbour....most will be way above level 300 by the time they do all of this now). So no need to worry about powerleveling since the game is doing it for you, and quests give a lot of xp in this game so it always feels way faster than any grinding to me anyway.

      @Nessaeria  Місяць тому

      @@bookmagic9641 Yes, great point! Especially since the main quest line has so many skill points too. I also agree with the leveling - zone quests are a super fun way to do it!

    3 Big New Player Tips I would Add:
    1. You can decon items to learn those new sets you pick up, you can click on the item in your inventory and choose bind or go the longer route the video mentioned to look in collections and bind them from there. But it is just faster and easier to decon all new gear, that you dont plan to wear, and all new stuff deconstructed at craft tables will auto-learn the gear piece and set for your toon.
    2. Make Mounts 30% faster: Go to the pvp zone of Cyrodiil as soon as you can (used to be at level 10), get there by hitting the L button on keyboard and choosing a campaign...there is an under level 50 campaign and its usually about empty...plus you port into one of your Safe Bases (there are 2 safe bases/castles in cyrodiil for your alliance, they on edge of map with shield symbols on the map)...its a safe area no enemy colors can enter and no one can hurt you there, you can try attacking your fellow same colors all you want but you are all immune to each other in all of cyrodiil (you can only hit enemy faction/allaince colors).
    You go to Cyrodiil as fast as you can to do its 5 minute Welcome Quest (talk to some npcs, travel back forth between the 2 safe bases, talk to npcs, go outside one safe base to the practice siege area, use all the siege gear to hit target dummies that look like scarecrows/stick figures, talk to npcs, go to one of your scroll areas, talk to npc, then go back to safe base, talk to more npcs and you are done). After completing the welcome quest you should be rank 3 or higher in Alliance War Rank, you should have 2 skills points, and you will now be able to add 1 skill point to the Alliance War skill line of Assault to a passive called Continuous Attack...this will make all your mounts 30% faster instantly, can really help speed up the feel of riding besides the 1 stables a day for speed (and yes you should choose speed first for stables to level up, then capacity for extra inventory bag space).
    3. Pack Merchant!! Each big city has a pack merchant npc that sells inventory bag space at 10 slots at a time, up to 8 times, so you can buy 80 more inventory slots in total, you can buy all 80 first day if you have the gold. first 30 extra spaces is almost only 10k gold, it gets more expensive with each 10 a toon buys (total price is about 180k gold for all 80). (each toon has to buy the pack merchant slots, just like each toon has to do their own stable buys....but buying extra bank space at the banker is about same as the pack merchant in number of slots and total price but it is accountwide so only need to buy banker slots once).

      @@bookmagic9641 Thank you! Great Tips 👏🏻

      @@Nessaeria Another tip that can really help players see nodes to harvest, antiquity spots to dig, and treasure spots to dig, is to turn off all grasses in the settings. It will remove most tall grass and flowers, so you mostly will only see the harvestable nodes and dig locations, the ground will be green where there is grass or white where there is snow, but it wont be high and able to hide the stuff you want to see.
      Also in settings if you feel like your game is slow to load between zones or slow to activate button pushes, you can try to lower your visual settings to low...many pvpers do so to have even a milisecond in faster speed and smoother game play frames. So turning off reflections, shadows, and grasses, and glows can really help make your game faster to load up and change zones, etc.
      Oh and Nameplates, it can be very helpful to turn on Nameplates in settings so the game will put over npc heads what they are...its helpful to be able to locate merchants fast.
      Also, in settings, is the ability to have all loot consolidate and auto loot when clicking on one mob npc can save time...and it can waste time, depending your playstyle/inventory space/etc (can waste time in then needing to throw out worthless 1 gold items if you need to travel all the way to town to empty bags, and you are in middle of dungeon or trial or long delve with not much bag space). So when space is limited, better to have the auto loot off so you can choose what you want to take only when clicking on the mobs for loot; but when you can empty bags anytime and want maximum loot then the auto loot setting can save time.

    • @Nessaeria
      @Nessaeria  Місяць тому

      @@bookmagic9641 oh that’s awesome I didn’t realize you could hide the grass! I also agree that bag space is super hard to manage on a new character. If you can swing it though, I usually decon those 1 gold items because they can drop mats!

    Great video if anyone is interested in information on housing/travelling to free to shrines: There are 3 free small ‘houses’ (more like rooms) that you can use to travel for free, and they are all near a wayshrine. I personally like to use the house in Auridon because it's a short walk to the wayshrine. You can also get 1 free chest for your house and once you reach mastercrafting, you can unlock the rest of the extra itemspace chests and place them in these free houses to store extra items. I personally use them for Undaunted monster gear (helmet/shoulder), furnishings, Mastercrafter quest books and some items I like to keep, like quest costumes.

    In my opinion, I don't think you should ever buy the latest expansion especially as a new player. I think that first you should buy the base game and play it for a couple days to see if you're going to like it. If you think you're going to like it then get the ESO+ subscription that already includes everything up to but not including the latest expansion. I've been playing for well over 2,000 hours I've never run out of content beyond what I get with ESO+. I have never bought any expansions. With the subscription, anytime a completely new expansion comes out, the second newest expansion becomes part of this subscription.

    • @Nessaeria
      @Nessaeria  Місяць тому

      Yes the base game has so much content it’s a super great place to start! If you have patience that is an excellent option for sure! I buy the expansion because I can’t wait for the new content 😂!

    • @Nessaeria
      @Nessaeria  Місяць тому +2

      Yes you would over time but you do get the other benefits of having ESO Plus if you do purchase that. I definitely wouldn’t recommend buying each DLC individually, I think going with the collection edition or purchasing ESO Plus in addition to the base game is the way to go. I hope that helps!

    • @jasondroninaround
      @jasondroninaround Місяць тому +1

      @@oscarma15 You're not just getting all the expansions, you're getting that huge crafting bag and $15 worth of cash shop credits each month. You could think of it as a different way in that if you buy $15 worth of Crowns , they'll give you all the expansions but the latest one, and a bottomless crafting material bag, for a month. Also, if you decide to take a break and not pay the subscription, you don't lose the contents of that crafting bag. You don't even lose access to it. You can still withdraw from it all you want, you just can't put stuff in it. And you still can play the base game plus one (or I think two) of the original expansions. It's not like FF14. You can switch between sub and no sub as much as you want.

    dont play the PVP battleground, unless you're forced too (events), there is no pvp its too one sided 100~500 CP will fight against 2500cp groups, 0 balance , no mmr , no fair starting point , players can have some sort of mythic item they got behind a paywall and one shot everyone. it make no sense, its paid to win literally in your face, PVP is not the main game, the dev dint planned this and it shows.

      @Nessaeria  22 дні тому

      @@MultiKwolf which mythic is behind a pay wall? You have to scry for every mythic I know and earn it fairly. I don’t really agree with this, I think battlegrounds can be fun and you still earn rewards even if you lose. I do agree that PVP is just one part of the game so if you don’t like it, that’s fine!
