Hopsin will never fall off. Comparing himself to other artists doesn't even make sense when your individualism is so present and strong. He's been dope🤘
I'll be honest this song actually made me tear up. I live this daily, I have struggled with thoughts like this for years. Scary part for me is I'm part of a legacy of suicide in my family. My grandfather and mother both killed themselves. I fight it all the time. And the only reason I haven't followed their footsteps is because I accepted Jesus into my heart and life and it changed me so much. I still struggle with these kinds of thoughts, but I have not even come close to trying to end my life since I got saved. And that feeling of despair and hopelessness is nothing like it was before. Sometimes it leaves me for long periods of time. That's God in my life because before Him I would have never thought that possible.
As somebody who has died before and was brought back to life, I can tell you that if you keep on this path, you'll meet God and be thankful for the strength you had when you were alive.
Nobody still has never pointed out that during his "Ill Mind of Hopsin 5" reference the ill mind of hopsin 5 beat intertwined with the original intlstrumental! ! A TRUE ARTIST
As a big Hop fan, he did fall off... at some point in his career, everything he dropped started to get less and less recognition. No matter what he did or how better the song was.
Yeah but the reality of it is thoughts become reality if you give it enough energy and attention. so if you think of something negative and believe it and dwell on it enough that becomes your reality. Be careful what you think

Nah real hip hop is good

Hopsin will never fall off. Comparing himself to other artists doesn't even make sense when your individualism is so present and strong. He's been dope🤘
that "The Mask" homage is golden.
Sad that shaq didnt catch it. 😢
That mask's roots deep yo
Needs a little work yo
Shaqs reaction killed me even harder, cuz i read this before watching.
I noticed it too
Barefacts he even had the sign come out one of the guns I'm sleep🤣
Glad you have found something that gives you strength. Stay strong and confident, I wish you luck!
@@mala6238 Thank you
@@Acadian.FrenchFry you're welcome!
Happy you found the strength! Stay up!

NF and Hop do so good with the story telling mental stuff bro it’s insane.
Nobody still has never pointed out that during his "Ill Mind of Hopsin 5" reference the ill mind of hopsin 5 beat intertwined with the original intlstrumental! ! A TRUE ARTIST

Crypt did in his reaction lol. That made me kinda happy, that song introduced me to hop
I noticed it the first listen, so crazy bro
How nobody notice Shaq wearing the same hoodie as hop in the “weird white kids” scene??
Glad I am not the only one who noticed to lol
Nice I didn't peep that only my second time seeing the video but I have to say hop has always had the best music videos
What's the weird white kids scene?

I agree
As a big Hop fan, he did fall off... at some point in his career, everything he dropped started to get less and less recognition. No matter what he did or how better the song was.
Hop is Back- nice one bro
“Don’t identify any thought as negative it’s just a thought” that’s something I needed to hear Fr
That voice is of Sadhguru From India 🇮🇳
Fr put distance between thought and body and focus on being alive ... goddddam
Yeah but the reality of it is thoughts become reality if you give it enough energy and attention. so if you think of something negative and believe it and dwell on it enough that becomes your reality. Be careful what you think

This is a convo he’s having with himself, I love his transparency and humility to giving in to what other people are saying about him, he was in a dark place and I’m glad he got out of it, this is still a great song and I appreciate how he carried himself selflessly
He drops the “only weird white kids like” bar when doing the 8 mile rap battle 😳
Do you think he's taking a shot at em? It's unlikely cause he looks up to him but still, it's got me wondering lol
@@koolfriday8891 He respects the fuck out of Em. It's just supposed to be a battle rapper calling him out.
@@Nobody-yc1qp yeah bro I know he does. There's also some truth in what he says, have you ever been to or seen one of hops concerts? It's filled with white kids but there's nothing wrong with that, a fan base is a fan base.

@@koolfriday8891 Course he isn't taking shots, he prolly just said that cause during the 8 mile battles all of Em's opponents always said something about him being white. Excluding Poppa Doc who choked of course. Em was a weird white kid and he prolly would've listened to Hopsin as a teen if Hop was older
When it's all said and done, Hopsin is one of the artists that'll still be brought up.
U speaking factsss bro
this is exactly why hop will always be my #1. the man just doesn’t miss, his shit is real & relatable + he can actually spit. what a king, honestly 🙌
We posted damn near the same time 😂😂 my boy, I’m glad you beat COVID and are up and reacting. You’re the best homie!
I cannot believe Hopsin is not more popular, that man is a real genius.
Hopsin never fell off. He is one of the only rappers who makes his own beats and lyrics every single song
Him and Tom
J. Cole too
Pretty sure Dre produced this from Em's basement
@@michaelstreeter2364 lmao no he didn't. The beat wasn't. Like I said before hopsin makes his own beat with all the songs he made.

This should have been Ill Mind 10, he’s addressing his thoughts and it’s huge scale and a great video, it would have been the perfect song for the landmark ill mind too
It does have an “Ill Mind” feel to it! I knew there was something familiar-feeling about it 🙃
im kind of happy he didnt put that name on it because its somthing new and fresh without that title, meaning his next ill mind has to be insane, might be about covid haha, gnat PT 2
@@DLoyaL902 that’s true, judging by the vid he’s trying to get kinda away from the hopsin in his head so maybe would have been odd to title it that, also he’s already made a covid track haha

i think "clean mind 1" would be legit
I think this is one of the songs he made when he was goin through his mental stuff and took his break from dropping music. This hits deep
No doubt! Love your St. Anger profile pic btw. I believe we have similar tastes
ya he said hed drop songs that he didnt release that dont rep where he is now
Hopsin is such a real human being. A real artist!
This song was so damn good. Self reflection on a level so real. Em, Joyner, NF... they all make songs like this and speak about these real ass demons these guys deal with. This was 🔥
Hop released a video a couple of months ago saying that all his music dropping is his old state of mind when he was going to stuff and that now he is much better and knows where he is.
Hopsin has gotten better with time imo. But his old stuff will always have a special place in my heart
So well said, gone but not forgotten in the slightest
I know there are a lot of rappers can produce songs better than Hop. But Hop is one of very few who can speak to me on a personal level
100%
@@NtJk a lot of rappers that can produce songs better than Hop?Name them.If we're talking about him making the beats and the storytelling he does on every track, hardly anyone comes close.
Hopsin is arguably the most underrated and under appreciated rapper of all time.
This guy is the most underrated artist alive
Because of songs like this, Hopsin is on my GOAT list. So much respect for him.
Lmao wtf
You probably fuck with Tom MacDonald heavy too then? This song is basically a copycat of "BEST RAPPER EVER" that Tom released in December of 2020.
It's obvious Hopsin heard that song and saw the video and liked it enough where he decided to do his own version using the exact same concept more or less.
@@Mista808 same concept, different substance
@@Mista808 what? Hopsin has been around way before Tom Macdonald. I like the occasional song of his. This is more like Guilty Conscience but go ahead and hop on the Hopsin hate train.

Shout out my guy No Life Shaq for dropping this before I went to bed while I was looking for reactions to this song, much appreciated
Shout out the sweatshirt too
Great song the lyrics perfect describing he's feelings when he was in that state of mind, and great video showing at the end that he had to kill all those negative thoughts that was bringing him down. It's good that he bounced back from his depression and has a clearer view of his life.
Man this shit hit home. I wonder how many of us have been looking for the words to say exactly what he just said. The hardest person to fight is yourself.
im sure its more people than we think. im one of them

I was looking for this comment 🤣 I was like “aye my guy I literally watched you react to 3 of his songs about his kid and baby mama whatchu talkin about???”
he has a kid but the mother doesnt let him see him :(
His last ill mind like I wanna say it was #9 he broke it all down. The chick said he hit her so he is banned from entering australia now
Why doesn't he take her ass to court? Is he really that unstable to be around them?
Can you watch SpongeBob with hem make krabby patties and be the one that makes me happy

Big fan of Hopsin, and a big reason is because tracks like this really tap into a lot of my own issues. Arguing with myself and being in my own head is a major problem. I can relate to so much of his music.
'The smart ones do' Truth in that statement
This man really poured his soul out to us, I have so much respect. Amazing. And I loved your reaction, subbed.
"What in the Transformers...? WHAT in the Go Go Gadget...?!" 😂😂😂
So we gonna ignore how Hopsin brought back his Ill Mind of Hop 5 persona in the beginning of the song
I knew I'd seen that before.
Aint nobody ignoring it, alot going on in this jam.
" For what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world, but lose his own soul "
This is the type of music i miss on the top charts, hop is so talented and this is a banger
Uploading my reaction video to this as I type. Was hoping I was gonna beat shaq but you fast as hell with the uploads homie. Salute!
Hop really dissed himself so that when he blows up again no one can say anything
This is the best video and the best beat he made also ... did anyone else realise how he put the I'll mind 5 beat in with this beat too? ... also hopsin is in my top 5
“What in the go-go-gadget” had me rollin yo lol 😂
What in the Jim Carrey
If y’all really follow hop he said the music that is going to come out in the next year or two depending on how fast he releases it was before he manifested and healed and took time to himself. So it’s his darkest days during this music. Hop found himself. But during the time he wrote this he was lost. 💪💪💪
That’s why he hoped on the Lost album by Nf
Hopsin is definately bringing something new. The Sadhguru quote at the end is brilliant. This man's vulnerability and personal expression is amazing - I loved how much you loved this!!!
When he pulls out all of the guns "gogo gadget lol" I think he's referencing his double personality in this song based on Jim carreys the mask.
What do you guys think?
Yes Hopsin said it was, on instagram
This song hits on a whole level I wasn’t ready for.
Bruh!
This song gives me NF vibes with how he’s talking to his conscience and he just had a song with NF. I wonder if NF is gonna be a feature on the Hopsin album
I wouldn't be surprised! They're good friends and I think they're aware that it'd be a missed opportunity if they didn't collaborate in the future
Gives me more Eminem vibes where he’s arguing with his alter ego and demons, like Eminem did in ‘my darling’ or when I’m gone

Man Hop ain’t never left the top of my list since I heard Sag My Pants when it was first released. He’s always been #1 for me ever since then, and that won’t change. I’ve seen this mans story develop, I’ve seen him develop as a person and as an artist and all things considered, he’s truly one of the best to ever do it in my humble opinion. This man can do it ALL, from lyrics to production to filming to acting, gotta give them man his credit
The way that hop put the ill mind 5 instrumental over the part where he’s talking about him back when I’ll mind 5 dropped and how he’ll never being as good as Kendrick and Cole ... goat shit fr
This isnt the first time hopsin has made a song speaking to himself calling himself mentally unstable and stuff but this is definitely the deepest song
Hopsin is built different God damn he way to creative protect him at all costs
