That's so true, in MMA, BJJ has a lot of strategic advantages, and talking about kyokushin, the tough training, the tough body of long time practicioners can give them MORE THAN ENOUGH weapons to help them in any kind of battle, maybe they will have to use other techniques but anyway with their speed and toughness they can endure a lot of pain and can inflict significant damage hitting, so kyokushin is very useful for real situation, even if instead of using kyokushin you just use street fight.
Videos do prove something. But I never said that you can learn so much from video but it is true that you can find a lot of inspiration in videos and that sure helps the learning proces.
Most Super... My Grandpa was int the front 2nd row on the upper right hand corner, granpda whatched this vid with me, tells me stories about his old times in his active Fighting days, good stuff.
It would be nice for people to realize that the best way to change someone's opinion is not by sitting but standing up and doing. You have an opinion? Don't type it, drive it into your opponent with your fists and feet. Comments in these matters should be for getting details on the fight.
@stoyashot i guess ur lucky then, im even willing to quit kyokushin after hearing my current teacher say: "in karate we dont hit the face so we wont train for it either" No i rather train muay thai or kickboxing then but with the intention and spirit of a kyokushin fighter. Osu :)
If you look just right on kiyamas shoulder that guy with the grey hair thats me grandpa and my auntie just on his left of my grandpa the 40ish looking women there yes.
As a matter of fact I have sparred with a mate of mine who is a brown belt in TKD. He fought just like the TKD you see on the olympics: hands on the hips. At that time I was a white belt karate so he must have not expected it, I kicked to his head and I was shocked: no defense. So my kick landed right on his cheek. That a sport is in the olympic games doesnt mean anything. But if you like watching TKD, go ahead. If you would tell me, why do you find these karate masters shit?
y dnt u utube it. inspiration but in tkd, u need 2 work hard, for instance 360 kicks jumping spinning kicks etc. from this video, i have a lot of inspirations, i learnt how to punch n kick. so u study karate yea?
Any discussion on real life environment is stupid, if it is needed you can destroy eyes, bite flesh etc if you know someone is trying to grapple you, you can say wrestlers are very fast, I give you that, but I think you are also underestimating the human reaction against a life-death situation, I think Kyokushin is very effective because of the tough training, it improves your reactions, your resistance and speed, so that IS USEFUL, and BJJ training must also improve a lot of stuff so shut up.
They say it are 2 diffrent styles... but all i see are low kicks and punches against the chest, always the same way by both of them. There isnt any technique to see specaly no difference. It looks just like more or less "wild" punch-up. Sometimes a nice block, but thats all.
everybody has his own taste but its certainly a bit strange that you say you dont like watching karate but you still visit this video. Go watch that fake taekwondo if you like flashy weak kicks with the hands on the belt.
so video will prove everything? so lets not study martial arts, lets learn from videos, utube. if video will show something, i would've been 9th dan by now yeahhhh
so u fight wid 1 guy and u judge all the tkd is shit? im not sayin it is shit? wen did i state "karate is shit" i just state that the fight is shit bcuz all it dus just punch, kick dats all. nothing wow me, im just speakin my mind.

Stephen Thompson is a good example.
You can say what you will but kazumi is A FUCKING TANK!

you ll see that in kyokoshin there unform is alway big. while in other system of karate like shotokan the unform is shorter
wow. at the end, each other gave thanks to his opponent for the great bout!
nice!
Que GRANDE es el Kyokushinkai!!!!! Ya no es lo mismo.
its more fun to watch taekwondo or mma etc. i dont hate karate but from what i see, its like kickboxing but it is more lay back
Kazumi Hajime and Kyama Hitoshi 2 great Kyokushin Kai Karate Ka
Kazumi shihan, an untouchable legend forever, Osu!
ossuuu!!! I love this video
The rules in a tournament are not a good representation of what you practice in the gym. At our kyokushin gym we also train boxing etc.
Yeah, that must have spurred him quite a bit, since he went on to win the world open the next year...!
amazing fight ,true warriors!
C'est un style de karate Shiaï. Plus des coups de pieds bas(gedan-geri et mawashijodan geri,,pas de coup poing à la tête (Jordan tsuki).
I think, it was hikiwake in all the 3 rounds. But the piont is the two great fighter!

Well... I mean "spurred" like when you spur a horse so he goes faster, work harder... But inspired also I guess...!
Kazumi 🇧🇷 Ossu!
Both great fighters! But in my opinion, in the last round it was hikiwake XD Osu!
Kiyama Hitoshi fell down and that is what made him lose the fight .otherwise it was a draw . GREAT FIGHT INDEED
Good lesson for Kiyama... ;-)
If there was just one good video of a good TKD fight to prove me wrong I would not have this opinion.
@stoyashot
