100% agreed, it's a little bit like with the SF2 Animated Movie. And still I can't find a proper version of OEDO 808, i.e. with good picture , UK dub AND McFarlene's brilliant work over it.
@@IntrinsicPalomides I have it too :) There are rips up here as well but it's even worse quality. I guess the only way is to grab the image from a DVD release and combine it with the audio from that tape.

The UK soundtrack is way better than US and JAP
@JPod Mx absolutely. It's not even funny how much an improvement it is.

this is real Anime, what the hell happened Japan!?
Pussyassnerds happened and their waifu anime girls, so the producers thought hell yeah lets profit on these losers
it was the japanese gold era
lmfao im sure it has to do with the fact that it was kinda hard to jack off to this kinda anime.i prefer older stuff but times are a-changing

The Bubble era ended, which made original OVAs economically unfeasible, and the Moe boom took off, leading to a change in popular art styles.
Probably the pinacle of Anime this, still wonderful to watch now and honestly? Nothing modern touches it.
