As much as i love watching you guys in the process of making beautiful things, i also love the camarederie. You show how well you know each others' strength and weaknesses, and you can joke around and tease each other.

Thanks! Comes from years of working together. You can't work as a team without knowing each others weaknesses and strengths.

Hey guys, wicked video series on this project. Turning out amazing.
I had a question about the soil around the intake. I noticed that you guys brought soil into the intake bay. You used Fabric as a barrier to stop it washing into the intake bay, however the soil was brought into/on top of the liner.
Would there not still be soil run off through the fabric from the soil into the system? My understanding would be that you would want to throw the liner over the aqublocks and build it up outside of the liner.
I'm just wondering if you guys think there would be run off soil nutrient through the fabric and if that could create issues with water quality and algae. Would love to understand this more. Also would there not be potential for planting that is done in this soil to reach down into the reservoir, which could cause issues with water loss ect?
    Much appreciated.
    Brendon - Ecosystem Gardener.

We use a 16oz non woven fabric. The dirt won’t migrate through it 👍

@@AtlantisWaterGardens I think he might mean the XPS foam sheets under the boulders, I know that stuff is super strong, but how does it hold up over time ?

Please let me come work for you! You all have inspired so much for me, I've been working every day during the summers on my property sculpting it out and this type of project is what I would love to do some day. Thank you for all the inspiration and great visuals for me to learn from.
