Congratulations! I have just finished my third season on my 2020 30.1 which I sail in Atlantic Canada....the boat appears not to have changed much since it's inception (I see that there are now two shore power inlets on board?). I think you will be happy with the square top main and overlapping jib....enjoy your new boat - smooth sailing and fair winds to you!
Kudos!! 👏😊 I’ve always wanted a boat. Last year I worked in the boat rental side and realized how amazing sailing is. My dream will be to one day buy a Beneteau. They’re my top 2 brands of sailboats ⛵️
Nicholas, I’m 64 yrs old and had this dream of sailing for 3 yrs now. Finally, I’ve decided to sign up for my first ASA course with the class starting in May 2025. I live in Neptune. If you’re still sailing anytime this month, I’d love to come out with you for a first time experience.
Beneteau's are nice coastal boats, but I wouldn't take one off shore. Very fragile with exposed blade rudders, sail-drives hanging out in the open and partial keels. Add to that big cockpits to fill with seawater in a wash over and lexan ports below the gunwales. Malina is correct in just taking it up and down the coast
I love her story! Even though she just learned to sail a few years ago, you can tell she's a natural with incredible passion. Beautiful boat!
Such a beautiful boat ⛵

such a nice boat, and owner. Is it blue water rated?

From an inflatable Dinghy to a thirty footer, some steps are missing

l own a 30.1 and tend to agree with most of your comments however it is a shaft boat not sail drive
