You are 100% right about how painful it is to install this Dominator xtreem D1. I could only install the bracket but still couldn’t out the steps. Very dissatisfied
Put Go Rhino D1s on my 2020 Sierra crew cab. Brackets had to have bolts run through nuts on them, just like you said. Thanks for tip. What a pain to install! I had to put bolt in unused hole in bracket so I could control it in D channel. To get other bolts in.
great vid!!! i think all manufacturers that produce heavy, bulky, large... w/e we call it should package them better. wrap the entire item with bubble wraps etc.
Good job brother!! I too am replacing my N-Fab nurf bars with the Go Rino RB20 slim-line. I am concerned after watching your video. I was hoping for a 6 pack job but now its looking like a 12 pack job? I am impatient so I am getting my mind right before they arrive understanding the job will be frustrating. Appreciate you brother!!!
I needed something where my wife and 82 year old dad could use to get up in the Jeep. They can’t step high enough to get in so I needed drop down steps.
Thanks!

oh and instead of holding it with your knee, could have used lowe's or Hd bucket lol
I bought it about 5 months ago and it’s still sitting on my garage because the difficulty in installing them😢
That's the craziest mounting system I've ever seen on running board's !
I agree, I like how they were able to be slidden but it was horrible to get started
I like them better will also help with the rocks hitting the paint.
I agree and they are way more functional
Gotta watch those Crocs they will get you!!!
They definitely will
I used jack stands and 2 empty 5 gallon paint buckets to hold up my rock sliders but mine were a hundred pounds each.
These were nowhere near that heavy but I still got pretty tired holding them up
Would look better with black washers

No thanks I’m not thirsty 😂
4WD Crocks! :D
Oh yea 😂👍
Im thinking of going with some rock sliders for my 2014 tundra crewmax, anyone know of good ,but not super expensive set ?
Sorry I don’t. I’ve never used rock sliders but I’ve heard they do work well for offering
Check out All Pro Offroad Apex Sliders. Highly recommend them.
Wouldn’t it have been easier to bolt the brackets to the step (loosely), then bolt the brackets to the jeep?
I’m not sure I just followed the directions as they were written
Im in the middle of this very install and I think this is going to be the order I take.
I think it would easier if you had put all the brackets together and then attached it the jeep's body
Don't waste money on side steps, get sliders

Just wondering if simple sliders don't make the car even more dirty in mud
