I know a lot of people don’t like it… but I really like Fallen Revamp. It is a huge improvement from Fallen Classic because there is a much wider variety of obstacles and jumps. The head hitters aren’t very good but otherwise, I think the gameplay does fine. Maybe it would be nice to also incorporate the original disappearing platforms in some parts of the map. And the design is a big step up. It carries out the map’s theme much better than the previous version, and the atmosphere is improved too. The detailing has also been taken a step forward with the new crystals, floating crates, trees, etc. I think it could be a bit more desaturated though, closer to the original but not entirely black and white.
Satomi Springs is my favorite Insane because it's hard but not too hard to the point I lose my mind from constantly failing it, and also because it's easy but not too easy that I sleep 4 times trying to get through the map. Definitely would like it if it was in S or A tier, it's just really nice to play through. (magmatic mines is also my favorite idk why I didn't put it there but yeah)

My opinion on the insane map tier list: Fallen - S tier (SIKE) Fallen - B tier cuz i love the view of space but awkward gameplay, i only like it because the style and music (and tbh i like marred dreams reverse) Abandoned Facility - F tier (sorry BoonMoon) Sure i have some interest in it, like have floating crates but the gameplay is kinda mixed all around the place Lost desert - A tier Don't get me wrong, its probably one of the best classic maps (unlike Some Monochromic classic maps with crystals) and even the gameplay is good, mixed but good Sinking ship - A tier just like lost desert, it really had interest and i love to rage at the pacing, thats why it's incredible, and the intense music but its only A tier cuz lag in chaos servers Familiar ruins - B tier >>> A tier sure i really like this map but i began to cry cuz i realized that it was fe1 destroyed when i made it to that one room for the first time but i realized it has like a good classic design (Unlike some Monochromic void maps with crystals) and the music is so intense so its B tier bumped up to an A tier Beneath The Ruins B tier >>> A tier The reason why its also the same rank as familiar ruins is because it's super interesting that it doesn't make it below my opinion is cuz the same reasons as familiar ruins but slightly better cuz its beneath the ruins, what do you expect, and in terms of music... incredible experience, so B tier bumped to an A tier Magnetic mines - C tier Reasons why is because my opinion its like in the middle of being good and bad, that's why i call it mid, a good 4.5 map like fallen (And not a Monochromic void map) and the outside zone has some random platforming like fallen (Classic) and now you have to swim over there and then reach the end as for terms of design and music, they are good also if that ost was used for a Ignis map, it would be pretty bad and the design, it takes place in the mines, but you escape it and i like the animation but its a bit broken for high frames and that's my score for magnetic mines (i really like calling it that) Dark sci-facility - A tier Its dark sci-facility, everyone love dark sci-facility, we have so many dark sci-facility-like maps and we need more, i enjoy the fast pacing but that jump... 💀 and it is based off of long jumps in every zone, it takes place after dark sci-forest which is really cool with the ground shaking and music is classic yet good my opinion and thats why its that score (are you sure dark sci-facility isn't a crazy map 💀) Satomi springs - S tier... What's satomi springs? And that's my opinion on saying Sike to fallen-- i mean the maps
Beneath The Ruins... I used to hate this map before. That time, I'm not really a fan of the design and soundtrack of it, but it starts growing on me when I came back to play FE2 again. The design is like the sequel of Familiar Ruins, and the aftermath of FE1. Yeah I like it. Gameplay-wise, its great. I like how varied the gameplay on each room, specially the 5th area. 5th area (before the final room) has 3 buttons, I just like how you going back and forth to press all of that and the gameplay on that part is not repetitive. Soundtrack, I really underestimated this one just because before I don't like Crazyblox's music style (its more on synth). But now imo its the best track Crazyblox has produced in FE2. The slow, depressing sound of the track fits the map atmosphere at all. The song is fire and I appreciate the song much more now.
I remember getting completely stressed out when Sinking Ship came up, because I always failed the climbing section. That, and the pole jumps from Lost Desert were the bane of my existence. So weird that those parts are now nothing but a breeze for me.
imo the background for dark sci is what really makes me love it i’m a sucker for songs with engaging backgrounds and i feel like dark sci does that amazingly

Lost Desert and Sinking Ship revamp was like... 5 years ago? And it still pretty holds up well. I like how fresh the design of Lost Desert to this day, Sinking Ship is good too. Sinking Ship is imo one of the best maps in the game. Design, gameplay, and soundtrack is on point. I feel having adrenaline rush playing this map. And the fact that it can sweep like half of the players on servers in the tower part, tells that this map is still hard to beat 'till this day. Not really a fan of this map, but damn this map is one of the remarkable maps in FE2 history.
Fun fact: as fallen is getting more updated, its getting less lazy really really slowly and probably by the next year, fallen will have the biggest update in fe2 history

It really gives the feeling off urgency to get to the top of the ship before it sinks. No matter how great the newer maps are, sinking ship will always be my favorite! 💗

Is no one gonna talk about the fact that the place keeps getting distorted each and every time this man comes back, like part 1 was all normal, part 2 was just soooooooome creepy vibes and telling us that the signal was not connected or found, part 3 is some destruction, we see a broken wall that Boon entered through, the grass isn't green, now part 4 shares LOTS OF DESTRUCTION, lava flowing through, earthquakes, the tier list center is falling apart, the signal operator thingy is broken, mountains rising, ect. What will part 5 look like?

Personally, I think Abandonned facility, gloomy manor and familiar ruins NEED a buff, yes they’re old but the pacing is too slow for an insane difficulty. In my opinion all insane’s should have sinking ships pacing as a standard.

The Starting Room in the Beginning of Beneath The Ruins is actuarry the exit area of Flood Escape Classic where we had to click buttons to find the correct pattern to open the exit and escape before the water comes. so yeah we are usually learning about what happened to all of the inside buildings in Beneath The Ruins such as The Training room and other rooms as well and The Guide escaped to the exit from the lava but he was trapped from the flood so this is why he's always staying in the exit because he don't want to die. well The Guide is the only person who made The Flood to rise in all maps because we saw him back in Poisonous Valley for making the flood rise. and also in Familiar Ruins we are learning about what happened to the main building why it was destroyed and why is there lava well the lava probably caused trouble to destroy the building for rising everywhere caused by Guide so he's a Evil Person and wants to kill everyone with the lava. Crazyblox is a good person he's on our good side because he made a Lobby to keep us safe from the Guide. sadly he cannot rescue us because we are underwater he don't want to drown to risk he's live for us so he's just staying at home to be safe. we also saw that The Lava destroyed the Outside of Flood Escape Classic for rising everywhere. if you ask what happened to Guide? Well Crazyblox Fired The Guide to not work with him anymore because he caught him for causing the lava to rise so after he saw crazyblox he started to run away but crazyblox also ran away to try to escape the lava. But Beneath The Ruins and Familiar Ruins is definitely The Best Flood Escape Classic Lore Maps and The Best Maps ever Crazyblox Created.
Fun fact: Gloomy manor can be easily beaten with less than 10 jumps, you heard it correctly *10 F**KING JUMPS* (no pressing buttons of course). Try to compare that with beating buried oasis while no pressing buttons 16:07 *embarrassment*
There used to be a glitch that happened to me a lot back in my old FE2 days where I instantly die when Magmatic Mines started loading in it was like annoying as hell
