Thanks, Laurie. I try to pick pens that I will likely be using the ink with. 😀

Hey Cathy. Thanks again for a wonderful video. I have never seen a Pilot Legno. I haven't seen these advertised at the major online retailers.

Hi, R! The Pilot Legno is no longer in production. I haven't been able to find out when Pilot stopped making them, but my guess is around the same time they stopped making the Stargazer. I bought mine on eBay from a seller in Japan. The prices have really shot up, but if you keep your eye out and are patient, reasonable priced pens can be found. 😀

My preference is for EF nibs, and I enjoy your videos because I have many Japanese EF pens. Question 7:16 : Do you have a Lamy 2000? I hear the EF nibs are more like a medium and I do like the look of the pen but I’m reluctant to pay $$$ for a pen that may disappoint. Faber Castell has outstanding nibs for a Western pen.

I don't have a Lamy 2000, but I do have a Lamy Logo with a 14K EF nib. In my video: Pilot Vanishing Point Fountain Pen with EF Nib, I did writing samples comparing the EF nibs of my Pilot Kakuno, the Lamy 14K, and the Vanishing point. The Lamy nib is wetter and wider than the Pilot nibs. You can also check out the "Nib Nook" on the Goulet Pens website to see how the Lamy 2000 nibs compare to a standard shaped 14K Lamy nib.
