Well, Breaking Benjamin has 3 guitars anyways, I'm sure that just one of them could play the riff and do fine, but idk if they wanted to leave the other 2 out of the fun.
@Kendall Greer I think Kevin is trying to say that as good as this cover was (and it was a great cover)...it just feels like it’s missing that little something extra; sometimes imitations can replicate precisely and other times it’s always just an approximation, no matter how close it may be (and tool falls in the latter category)
Good, but they did not sound "better then Tool". The young kids that sing Tool songs are awesome, but not better then Maynard. Tool (Danny, Justin, & Adam) makes a song, then Maynard comes in and writes the lyrics. That's difficult and genius.
vocals? actually good and I cant believe i typed that, the 3 guitarists and 1 bassist and drummer not being able to pull it off at all is worse than i expected
I made it 1 minute in, must stop and listen to the entire Aenima album start to finish to cleanse my ear holes. Only one Tool.... though shall not be covered. I muat admit, if i was about 6 beers deep at this show and they started playing this, I'd be jamming. :)
When you realize that Adam Jones plays that alone and here are three guys trying.. also the energy Maynard gives Aenima is not reachable by this dude..
You really only need 1 guitar. But my guess is Ben didn't want anyone to be left out of playing. Kinda explains BB acoustic shows with 4 guitarists and a guy playing djembe when you only need 2 guitars at most. Nice cover.
The more guitars the better Fuck imagine an alternative world with Jimmy Hendrix Eric Clapton Jimmy Page Adam Jones David Gilmour It would be fucking magical
I Love Breaking Benjamin, but this is not very good lol. The timing is off. I'm also a major Maynard fanboy so maybe that's just why i don't like it lmao
The bassist's impersonation of Maynard James Keenan is absolutely mind blowing!!
I dunno dude... He's not even wearing a bra or body paint lol.
Ikr
It's because he's bold
Is it, is it really?
yeah I know he sounds just like him
Honestly, it's a good cover. It's not easy to cover the greatest band ever.
Takes 3 guitar players to attempt to make Adam Jones' sound....
Ha ha I was thinking the same thing!
to be fair the studio version has many tracks of guitar playing together
@@pabloscobar958 They recorded this ?
@Guitarista78 no he’s talking about Tool’s original recording
Well, Breaking Benjamin has 3 guitars anyways, I'm sure that just one of them could play the riff and do fine, but idk if they wanted to leave the other 2 out of the fun.
Makes me realize there is only one TOOL. They're truly top tier.
@Kendall Greer ikr have you seen limp bizcit what over hes name is he did a cover and it sucked this one is awesome

They made a complex polyrhythm 4/4
Solid cover; drummer was solid, and happy to see the guitarists are using Adam’s technique for their tracks.
Wow they did a great job sounds much like the original. They must've played this dozens of times judging off the sound
M Gonzalez Ben has been covering this song for years
You can find videos of old concerts where he played it
Yeah Ben has been playing this song for years. Before he was even famous. They sounded better than Tool back then too
Good, but they did not sound "better then Tool". The young kids that sing Tool songs are awesome, but not better then Maynard. Tool (Danny, Justin, & Adam) makes a song, then Maynard comes in and writes the lyrics. That's difficult and genius.
@@michaelcox2134 "Sounded better than Tool" you mean the greatest band that has ever been, Tool? Haha, what a clown.
@@naito2951 It sounds like a high school talent show performance compared to Tool, dont get it twisted.
I have no words, they did a killer job, especially the bass player.
Not bad. Never got into this band. Just isn't for me but huge props for covering Tool! It's never an easy task.
Really good cover
It truly is
I love the learn to swims! Distancing from the mic was fantastic! Never even knew these guys covered Tool, but they knocked it out of the park.
Okay that was quite impressive
He ain’t no dany but good job bois
@Kyle Mo Well Danny was heavily influenced by Neil Peart. So without Peart, Bonham, Rich etc. There wouldn't be the Danny we all know and love.
My gosh! What a perfect cover!
fuck, this is BADASS. very very good cover. And for it being live, it sounds fucking amazing. Need to see them live
Damnnnnn, that ROCKS!
Best drum cover of this song ive heard. Tool song are not the easiest to cover.
Damn great cover. Wish they would played this the 3 times i saw them
I didn't hate this as much as I thought I would. I did find the 3 guitar players, 2 singers, and basic drum kit as comical as everyone else though.
Holy shit, that was great! Very unexpected.
Shaun fuckin killed it on the drums!
Holy Shit. What a fucking cover. Amazing
Great cover, vocals were on point.....👍
They nailed it.
Wowww his vocals are really good
NICE !!!
I really love this band. How are you going to play the solo without the slide? Just seems a little lazy to me.
Tool...... often immitated........never duplicated
Amen to that
Word
I feel like they're slowing down tempo at the chorus, but that may be just me. Good cover, BB :)
Youre right. Just a smidge but it is there. Regardless, they did an amazing job on this cover. I salute them for it.
This is excellent
vocals? actually good and I cant believe i typed that, the 3 guitarists and 1 bassist and drummer not being able to pull it off at all is worse than i expected
wait, three guitars??? whats the other two doing?
what the fuck that was excellent!
Their drummer absolutely killed
he was good, but not danny good
@@tr9165 for sure, nobody can match danny
Yes!
Nice Voice

Ben's aggresiveness scares me
Oh my fucking God that's GOOD
Totally fuckn awesome.!
Great live audio better than original band
I don’t think they were in drop d
Nice cover
Awesome cover 👍👍👍
I mean i prolly woulda dug it had i been there
Went into video ready to hate it and well damn… not too shabby
Fantastic job!
cool
Brrrrrrrrrt
I thought it was Maynard at the beginning
No.
Not bad but the vocals were nowhere near Maynard quality and the drums were also nowhere near Carrey quality. B-
b4ds33d2 Carrey cannot be replicated, Carrey is supreme
Props for covering a real banger tho
better than what your punk ass could play
b4ds33d2 his older version of this song with Ben as the singer beat Tool by a million times
Check out the Miami concert, they blew Tool off the grid lmao
Drummer looks busy. Danny sleep thru this. Its a rest period.
When the GOAT band gets GOATED beyond space and time. My god. There is literally nothing better
tempo is way too fast
When you realize that Adam Jones plays that alone and here are three guys trying.. also the energy Maynard gives Aenima is not reachable by this dude..
?
Is that a question or I don't know what's going on? They covered Tool's Aenima fairly well. (7/10)
@@michaelcox2134 dont think so bruh

weak
Shut up beetlejuice
You should play it... wait you have no talent.

@@misterlift2637 yeah😄sorry
Vocals suck but music is well done
Not a great job but found some respect for this band.
