Wow! That's a hard one. Certainly their most recognizable. They were just at the Ohio State fair of all places about a month ago. Still plugging! I'm still listening!
@@whatsforafters7843 I concur. For some reason, I never got what the title of the song was since it didn't get an airplay where I lived afterwards. I just remembered Dave Pirner doing his little jig at the end while playing his guitar in those torn jeans of his. Seeing this is why I'm glad people like you had the presence of mind to record this jam & upload it to the masses on YT. TY good sir.
I was in my boarding school in England in Rochdale knowl view School I was 8 then soul asylum come on mtv as a kid and I still listing now to them at 38 2022 happy Christmas soon in 5 days 2022🎅❄
Soul asylum and the Foo Fighters were his two favs. I just used to really dislike when it was mandatory that Dave’s band play with the musical guests. It worked for some groups of course, but for other it just made the stage too crowded.
31 years ago...wow! My fav song of theirs.

@@ShawnConrad-tw8du really? All my friends remember Runaway Train and Misery, few know this one - and it rocks! It doesn't feel like so long ago...
These were great days, I miss them.

Damn i miss the 90s
Standing in the sun with a popsicle, everything is possible

@@Chrisrw2023 With a lotta luck and a pretty face, and some time to waste...
What a wild ride they were beginning. I seen Dave last week, he's still living the dream. Live this life Dave, we love you.
" I tried to dance at a funeral.....New Orleans style" brilliant!!!
Man, this is so infectious. The whole band really looks like they are having a great time playing together.
Another gem. Great live performance
Always loved this song. What a fantastic version! Thank you for capturing it, and posting it in such high-quality video + audio.
+FrancisKlik Happy that you got a kick out of the clip, and took the time to say so. Thanks!
First convert I ever went to....with the Jayhawks in Minneapolis or St Paul...
95...long time ago! Great show.....underrated for sure.

My pleasure. Happy you were pleased with the quality of the clip, and took the time to say so.
Some of the Letterman performances where the bands had to play with the house band are dire but this clip is great.
Even Anton Zip seems into it.
Dave really loved these guys. He asked them back top play a bunch of times.

I met Dave and Dan in 2010. Nicest guys you'll ever meet.
The first song I learned to play on guitar. Will always hold a special place.
He had his music are timeless.
One of rhe bands that went under the radar but for one song
Inspired. Thank you for uploading!

You're most welcome! Glad you liked it enough to take the time to write a note of approval. Much appreciated!
Great song and a great rendition from an old band!
eccxelente disco exelentes canciones nunca van a pasar de moda gran banda
why does Dave always give these weird smirks and smiles, almost like he's laughing at the audience, but not quite
It is his personality. This is what makes him special. He is his own person not in any mold.
It's the Only way to be ....
