However right at the last minute toho declined on a female godzilla so little fact was used in the science fiction to explain why it layed eggs. Zilla jr is 100%male. Senior is female

And I just thought that mamma sounded more right than dadda. It wasn't even supposed to be godzilla, i originally had wanted to film a song sequence in the old Peters dragon film but decided not to. Then I wanted to film the scene in Shin Godzilla where he destroys the city, but again I thought otherwise. And so this was the scene I decided to film And I hate it, this video is terrible

I like it. It’s nothing like the real Godzilla, but it’s designed to be unique and to look more similar to a lizard in order to fit with the “misunderstood animal” theme the movie has. It wasn’t made to be an epic monster movie like 2014.
For fucks sake Its just a variation of Godzilla. A reboot if you will. a total retelling of the story that isn't meant to be exactly like the original, otherwise that would be boring and be like watching the original all over.
