I definitely gravitate towards lenses with character. Same with camera bodies (sensors). This 7Artisans 85mm and the new 75mm from TTartisan both look interesting.
Comparison between 7artisans and Viltrox 85mm would be interesting. I have 24mm 1.8 Viltrox and i like it. Nikon prices are too thick for what the lenses are.
Interesting that a manufacturer randomly sends you a lens to test for a system that you don’t have. Very fair review though. I use a Voigtländer manual focus 40mm f1.2 on my Zf and it is delightful. I hope to see more 3rd party lenses for the Z mount.
I definitely have unusable audio in my video. No reviews I have found even mention it so maybe I got a lemon. I would like to see that review. Both internal a7III microphone and a 9" shotgun on the hot shoe run by cable to the camera's mic jack pick up scratchy/grinding noise that can't be toned down in editing. Ah well, I plan on using it 80% for stills but I'd like to sort out if it's a fault or a cheap STM unit.
LOL...No matter where you go, or how remote you think you are there will always be a random person in your spot. IDK how these UA-camrs do all these " gear review" videos, it gets so boring after awhile, I guess the money must be good
@@ericrjennings I get the curiosity part, viewership will go down, but you will probably gain viewers more likely to engage. It's a fine line. I just post what I want and let UA-cam figure it out (probably a REAL BAD strategy), but it keeps me interested
