Michael Daniels I agree. Neil collaborated with some of the greats on this album, they included Gilbert Bécaud,
Carole Bayer Sager, Richard Fagan, Marvin Gaye and Bob Gaudio to name a few.
Thank you for this song and video compilation. Definitely one of my favorite Neil Diamond songs off his September Morn album, along with 'That Kind'. Your picture clips are especially insightful considering the World today and all the many problems we face and see reported in the News. And, one of your final clips with the auditorium filled with kids of every size, race, age and sex. Incredible. So, thank you again for this.

I sought to emphasize this by applying current issues to this great song. The image of the kids in the auditorium was a deliberate inclusion to highlight the need for humankind to learn to co-exist in peace.

Always loved this song.Although not his composition he sings it like he feels it in his talented way!
As someone who has spent a little time on "The other side of the bars." I appreciate this song. The people in there are not all that different from "normal folks". I spent some time with some really bad chics. Gals who had committed the worst of crimes. They made alliances like the people on survivor. I felt most comfortable at the black/hispanic table. I was surprised to find some sweet very devout Christians. You never know what circumstances can cause someone to end up in there.

It amazes me that this more spiritual and sensitive, even transcendant side of Neil Diamond is kept almost secret. Maybe because it might not be very commercial, I don't know. But the mystery intrigues me! You put together the most beautiful films.

Doug, I just keep finding more songs that you've put on here, and why I haven't found them before, is beyond me. I need to try and find all of my vinyl just to see how there can be music that I don't own and have never heard. @@NeilDiamondCentral I wish I could give you hearts instead of a thumbs up. I don't know how to bookmark a channel, but would LOVE to!!! Somewhere I have a poster from a music store that I won with a $10 bid on it back in 1979. It was "You don't bring me flowers", and it was just his face. I had that poster on my apartment door so it was the first thing I saw on my way out. I don't know where it is anymore, but I know it's somewhere in my house. I lost track of a lot of things after getting married and raising kids but it's great to think back to those old days when all I really cared about was music and my car, a '75 Camaro.
