I really love spellbound . Have the new bottle and two partial vintage bottles . I don’t get to wear it as much as I would like . Thanks for singing Spellbound’s praises … she’s a good one .

That’s amazing! It’s been a long time since I sniffed the vintage version. Minis seem to be quite affordable on eBay. Thanks for watching!🙂

Aprikot, peach & Sandalwood - this is her , the Big Lady Sophia Grojsman ♥️ and i Adore her creations. My First one was Tresor the original one , and step by step the other ones Calvin Klein , Volupte, Vanderbild, Spellbound etc. The last one smells to me like Casmir Chopard + Trésor original EDP + 100kg Spicy and Sweet Carnation flowers. For autumn a nice and cozy Fragrance. The Cinnabar it’s the lightly Version of Opium YSL, Love them to 👋

That’s exactly right, she knows how to masterfully blend these notes into unique, comforting fragrances. I love Trésor and Casmir. 100kg of carnations? Yes! SpellBound is a carnation bomb.🌹 Thanks for watching!🙂✨

Yes, I know this fragrance. I have the original and the new formulation, and due to its spicy, comforting nature, I like the previous version better. The newer version is good, but it made me long for the dark, spicy amber I once knew, and I had to find it.

That’s amazing! I wish I also had a small bottle of the original formula. Thanks for watching.🙂

    Hi Luke😊
    Great rant!😂
If I know that someone important to me (like family) really doesn’t like a fragrance, I probably won’t wear it in their presence.
A coworker with COPD and emphysema had a really bad physical reaction to my Frankincense and Myrrh oil. We had different days off. So I could wear it, without worry, on her days off😊 And really tone it down on shared days. Only one drop under my hair on the back of my neck. I could smell it, but it didn’t project.
If the individual is just an unhappy person who complains about everything, I’ll wear it anyway. 🤭😂
I don’t own this particular EL perfume. I’m not sure about it. It’s almost impossible to sample first.
One of these days, I will try it.
Another lovely review of a scent with such a lovely name.
    Thank you. 😊

Hi! I’m glad you liked the rant. People not liking something and making rude remarks (i.e. my family) and actual allergic reactions are two entirely different things, aren’t they? The oil must have been very strong if it bothered your coworker. Thanks for watching! 🙂

    Hey Luke ,
    I would like
to buy all the vintage fragrances you are talking about. I have never tried Spellbound.
Wear your fragrances of course with respect to the others. In my opinion you didn't need more than 2 sprays from such fragrances.
I have tried Cabotene from a forgotten sample I had.
To be honest I would not have tried it if I hadn't watched your video.
I was really surprised. I put it on and it was so nice.
Thanks because you 've changed the way I perceived and understood this fragrance.
    Love from Chania, Hellas.

Hi there! I need a bit more than 2 sprays to be honest, more like 5-10, depending on the fragrance of course. I'm glad you enjoyed Cabotine, it's so inexpensive too.😀Thanks for stopping by today, take care.🧡

Hello Luke. I just watched your video of Cinnabar and I will try it again to reminde me the of this forgotten scent. This one I also haven't smelled for ages and I have totally forgotten of this masterpiece. Estée Lauder perfumes are truly well reformulated, in my opinion. The funny is I used this one back in the 90s and my olfactive memory is totally gone. Next month probably I will be traveling and I always take that opportunity to sniff a lot of perfumes in the airports. This one I really want to try! Usually I'm very hard to convince regarding scents but your description totally grabed me and make me wanted to buy it without retrying it. Yes, scents are for us but for our loved ones we chose not to wear them in certain circumstances. I adore Shalimar but my husband don't like it and in the days we are traveling by car or spend the whole day together I avoid using it. For love. In work some collegues complained about it because that I wore it all week... a big hug my dear. I'll let you know my thoughts about it. Expect something near in the future of Sophia... 😉

    • @lukeparfums
      @lukeparfums  22 дні тому +1

Hi Ana! You’re right, EL perfumes are well reformulated. I’m sure you’ll enjoy this one because I know you like Vanderbilt. I love trying out new perfumes at the airport. I can understand why you avoid wearing Shalimar when you’re in enclosed spaces with your husband; I have to do the same when I’m with my mum. And that’s perfectly fine. Oh, from Sophia? I’m so intrigued.😍

I wish my body loved Spellbound because my nose certainly dose. So many fond memories of others wearing Spellbound from the 90's! I did wear it to a music festival back in the day and it made me nauseous. I keep a vintage bottle just to smell once and again. Thx for the review- and the rant!
I feel about Blue Grass how you feel about Spell Bound. I wear it but careful to not do so around Mother:)

Hi Luke! Wow. I can just imagine someone asking you what you are wearing and you reply “Spellbound.” How chic is that! It makes me sad that you think Vanderbilt smells cheap because it was my grandmother’s signature scent before she passed away. I still have her bottle. I wear it when I need good luck. Of course it’s okay that we differ in opinion.😉 My mother and father also do not like a lot of perfumes I wear so I try to be careful but I cannot help what I love. Perfume is my passion and I will not stop to please others. I enjoy your rants. Sending lots of love! ❤😊

Hi Lottie! (You are Lottie, right?) Sorry if I got your name wrong. We follow each other on Instagram too.
Very chic! In all honesty, I fell in love with the name “Spellbound” before I even sprayed the fragrance at the EL counter. My comment was only about the current version of Vanderbilt; in my opinion, they’ve cheapened it. The vintage was gorgeous! We enjoy perfumes for ourselves, and that’s how it should be! 🙂 I try not to rant too much, but towards the end of the video, I might go off on a little tangent from time to time. I hope you’re doing well!🙂🧡

OMG, you mentioned Chloe Narcisse! That was one of my high school perfumes, aside from Poison. Still haven't been able to use Knowing, but still, am looking for a time I would. Over the top florals are not usually my cup of tea but I have/had a few of them which I love. I have Alien, had Poison, Tendre Poison, and So Scandal (though that was a fruity floral). This seems so interesting. Oh I love what you said about being true to yourself. I so agree!
