From Quebec Canada happy 80th and thank you for sharing this day with your fans all over the world with this UA-cam special day, we love it ! God bless !😘😘
Hank B Marvin guita, John Hostil on Bass (probably the last time with the Shadows on film), Brian Bennett Drums and looks like Alan Hawkshaw or Cliff Hall on piano. Some nice guitar work from Hank here.
What fabulous footage of The Shadows in this clip! MOVE IT... the song that Cliff has never left out of a tour since he recorded it. I love how each decade brings a slightly different flavour to the track
The bass player here, John Rostill, later played for Tom Jones. He wrote 'If You Love Me (Let Me Know)' and 'Let Me Be There,' which were performed by both Olivia Newton-John and Elvis Presley. Sadly, he died in 1973 and never saw Elvis perform his songs
I didn’t hear this song in Hong Kong. Why was this song blocked out from me? I love the song immediately when Cliff performed it at RAH session. Cliff played his guitar and sang it live. ❤️ This is the greatest Rock and Roll song of all times. It has American spirits- Mississippi beats. The lyrics were well written. Ian Samwell deserves the credit of helping Cliff to become the real founder of Britain’s Rock and Roll. After listening to MOVE IT again and again, I have fallen in love with this song. I would call MOVE IT as Cliff’s signature song. MOVE IT Come on pretty baby, let's move it and groove it Well a shake-a baby shake, oh! honey please don't lose it. It's rhythm that "gets you" heart and soul Let me tell you baby; it's called rock an'roll. They say, it's gonna die: oh! honey bee let's face it; They just don't know what's-a goin' to replace it. Ballads' and calypsos', they've got nothing on real Country music that drives along. Come one honey, move it Well, let's move Well, move it The new second verse: Come on pretty baby let's move it an' a groove it Dance honey dance baby please don't lose it 'cause' all over town there's a brand new beat An' it's hangin' in the air like the mississippi heat Fireflies in the night an' bullfrogs croakin' Well here comes the train an' boy is she smokin' Headed out from new orleans 'n' clear to l.a. Ya' better get ready it's a brand new day Honey move it 1 second ago

I wish the Shadows wouldn't dress as band leaders and I really do prefer this, the original version of Move It and not the modern one with the extra verse
Arguably the worst dresser throughout the seventies,....thank God he was and remains the best singer, but his wardrobe department should have been burned at the stake. 😅😅😅.
Time flies by. This song and all other golden oldies proved it.
Super hit , amazing Cliff With The Shadows and very nice performance of dancers ! 👍♥️🎤🎸💃

MOVE IT
Come on pretty baby, let's move it and groove it
Well a shake-a baby shake, oh! honey please don't lose it.

Well, let's move
Well, move it
The new second verse:
Come on pretty baby let's move it an' a groove it
Dance honey dance baby please don't lose it
'cause' all over town there's a brand new beat
An' it's hangin' in the air like the mississippi heat
Fireflies in the night an' bullfrogs croakin'
Well here comes the train an' boy is she smokin'
Headed out from new orleans 'n' clear to l.a.

I completely agree with you.
Congratulations Cliff 🌹rgds 🇫🇮
wow great stuf
Hank Marvin didn't play on the original 1958 recording of 'Move It'. On that occasion, Ernie Shears was called on to play lead guitar.
❤❤❤❤
Dear Sir Cliff
Happy birthday to you........CHEER..........❗❗
GREAT❗❗ SO STYLISH❗❗ your fantastic performance is brilliant, and The Shadows too.......Also the dancers too.........❗❗Ha ha...........

Alan hawkshaw on keyboards. He did the Grange hill theme and others
👏👏👏👍👍👍
RIP Alan Hawkshaw
I remember the mini skirts and long hair in that era.
Got to love the mutton chops on John Rostill! No Bruce there either......
From me in Sweden: Oh YES!!!!!!!
The Shadows here had no Bruce Welch appearing with them

Great footage, but no Bruce Welch in the line-up.
Why was Bruce Welch not in the line up ? Very strange
Cheese. But this is my favourite Cliff track. I'm not a fan of him but a few songs i do like.
Where is Bruce?
According to Lennon; the first rock song in Britain¡ in 58
Hank was cool.
I wish the Shadows wouldn't dress as band leaders and I really do prefer this, the original version of Move It and not the modern one with the extra verse
Plugged in but not switched on. Mimed but wonderful nonetheless. Guitar starts before Hank even moves and he is late playing the chord changes.
Official😊
I miss Bruce Welch on rythmguitar
Not the shadows 😞

It's your opinion but you are a man and women love him to death and approve all his choice in outfit.
👍👍👍👏👏👏🙏🙏
