This is a great high capacity’ish ride needed to keep supporting SFFT’s growth. Glad B&M is back in the game with six flags, if this ride is a success, look for more to come at parks across the country.
While I'd love to have it dive off of the quarry wall, I'll still be excited for this one. I am hoping that there is some on ride theming before the lift hill but it doesn't look like there will be. I think a show building with a dark ride portion similar to the indoor section of Baron 1898 would really be amazing given how much they are trying to sell the theme here. For me personally, if there isn't a show building portion that will be an even bigger missed opportunity.
I love dive coasters, probably because they've not been overdone in the UK. I mean we've got the first one too, Oblivion. Still one of my faves. I would love to go on some of the bigger ones!
Ok, explanation for the quarry wall: with all the work they've already done with it, any further construction would destabilize the wall. They basically can't do anything else with it because the extreme risk of a landslide if they do.

If SFFT can get a woodie at some point down the line, then I think they’ll have a pretty complete lineup, but in the meantime, Dr. D will work.
Maybe they'll wait on the wooden coaster. Sea World just added one, and Six Flags doesn't really like to wooden coasters because of the maintenance costs.
@@kristenlewis8680 I don’t think SeaWorld adding one will factor in whether or not SFFT gets one soon, they both already have Batman clones anyway, so two woodies with two different layouts definitely wouldn’t be a big deal. The fact that Six Flags of all parks is investing so heavily in a new ride, from B&M no less, is amazing. And it looks like a solid coaster to make their lineup just a bit better than it already is
The reason that Six Flags didn't put the coaster on the quarry wall was because they didn't want to put too much stress on it. With Iron Rattler, Superman, and the hotels near the park weighing down on the wall, Six Flags didn't want to take chances.
Six flags needs a giga coaster. They should put it in Texas. Either fiesta Texas or six flags over Texas. At over Texas they should rebuild the Titan and make it a giga coaster
Was there last week. Bummed it wasn't operational yet, but looks awesome. For another ride in the future, I'd like to see a decent coaster in the Boardwalk area. Take out the go kart track. Leave Pandemonium and build around and or through it. There's land over there.
Tbh six flags should start getting b&m and Intimin to put gigas in their parks. So many six flags parks like great adventure could benefit way more from a giga than something like a dive coaster, and it would give other parks a chance to compete against cedar point.
This is meant to be a sign that Six Flags is working with B&M again which confirms that Magic Mountain is getting a Giga in 2023. Mark your calendars ladies and gentleman
Thanks for the overview! I live in Austin and haven’t been back to fiesta in about 4 years.. looking forward to this one and glad they got rid of a stage they never used.
The ride turned out pretty good, the main drop is pretty standard for its size but I think what really took my by surprise is the small airtime hills in the second half. Those airtime hills mixed in with super low banked helixes are very good especially if your on an end seat. That last helix is super low to the ground it almost feels like you can touch the ground its really cool.
I'm waiting to see how much room will be left for guess to sit when watching the fireworks. This is my home park and I always remember the hill being full. So I'm curious as to how that will work out.
Great vid Taylor!! I agree with everything you said about this addition, and I wish I could go down there to experience it as I have never even been to SFFT before, but sadly I don’t know when that’s gonna happen.

As a ride operator at six flags fiesta Texas, I am so excited and hopeful that I’ll be able to operate this ride. It’ll be super fun and crazy with the 3 trains. Plus they bought a 4th train for maintenance :)
Crazy how Six Flags just goes full in with a B&M. Also noticing smarter company decisions as of late. I don’t think we’ll be seeing one of those corny announcement videos this year.
Six Flags got new ownership including a former member of the Cedar Fair board, so I’m expecting a lot of similarities to the CF business model in the future.
Actually shiekra at bgt is 78 miles closer. 1184 miles. Vs 1262 miles to seaworld San diego. Lol so that puts this basically dead smack in the center of the country.
By approximately 13 minutes, Busch Gardens Tampa is closer than SeaWorld San Diego. So basically, if either San Antonio, Houston, Baton Rouge, or Tampa have severe traffic issues, San Diego will be closer.
I’m not mad that they didn’t incorporate the quarry wall, because I honestly don’t know where they would put it. What I am disappointed about is the vest restraints. I would be much more excited if it had standard Otr restraints.
the park president said the trains and the restraints were modified to give more fun experience. we’ll see if the vests are retractable during airtime moments.

The queue line thing reminds me of What’sInTheShed in 2016-17
Thanks for the overview!
Taylor asks what’s in that Funhouse I’m thinking another what’s in the shed
I was just there yesterday and they have rethemed all of Crackaxle Canyon to steampunk.
I think something that should be looked at is its potential to be cloned for other major six flags parks
Day four of saying how long it takes for Taylor to respond to this comment
The color scheme is awesome. But not sure why the 7 across seating? That’s odd.
This ride has a bit more going on than Sheikra but Sheikra is still awesome.
Good to see the start with B&M so maybe other parks will get one soon.
It’s about time that one of the Six Flags parks in Texas got a really good coaster. I’m excited for this one!
Can you do a analysis on Fønix at Fårup sommerland
Really Taylor?
Apple Maps? Seriously??
This is gonna remove a lot of the lines for the other big coasters too so this is a mega W
I believe shiekra does 8 across 24 per train
I actually think it will be the best coaster at the park
I can’t wait.My fav is wonder women and rattler
I really like the look of this new coaster!
This would be a great clone model
So are they tearing down Sundance theatre ?
Hey y’all! Fiesta Texas ride op here. Wanted to give some info about the que house. There will indeed be a pre show in that big themed building that you see there. Should be great, more surprises coming soon!
How is this the steepest in the world when Fahrenheit at HersheyPark is a 97° initial drop?
It’s the steepest on a dive coaster and steepest b and m. Also Fahrenheit is not the steepest coaster in the world
The future of Six Flags is wicked scary
I don’t know why, but this coaster reminds me of the album cover of Dystopia by Megadeth
@@aleksthevoyager1260 Yeah, I heard
I'm glad it's 95* and not 91 xd
Should of dropped it into a tunnel
I think that dr diabolical could have been a lot better, with 4-5 inversions, however, I think the gp will l over this ride.
@@weedle4736 that would be cool
Is this based on DC villain?
