This was the first time they performed this song. It was the theme song for a movie that came out the day before this concert so they decided to perform it acoustic before it was officially released. That's why the lyrics are up for the audience.

Ive been listening to One Ok Rock since i was a kid, i discovered them on UA-cam and fell in love with catchy guitar from Toru and Taka's amazing voice. Their songs been with me when i was in the worst moments of my life. They gave me power after the death of my grandma in 2015, one day before new year. I fully understand why it made you cry, sending a lot of love and power from Poland. Keep the head high bro 💓

I love their acoustic versions, no matter what song. And believe me, they're able to turn every song into an incredible acoustic (you should check out their Deeper deeper-acoustic). To me, this really shows how talented they are. They don't stop, they want to go further and they always give their best, try new things and grow as individuals and as a band.

I don´t know when this was recorded. They recently made an accoustic concert right after the pandemic regulations were over. It was so meaningful to them cause it was their first performance after so long. This concert was just before they went on tour thhrough the US. There is an accoustng version of this where Tomoya plays the xylophone and a percussion box it sound beautiful. Everyone can feel this. I think we all have someone we miss.
From their outfits, this looks like it was recorded during the 2014 Yokohama Stadium Mighty Long Fall live performance. It was also when they had performed the cover for "A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton which was a really good cover done by them. Probably one of the largest and best live performances they had done.

I’m glad to see you continue your OOR journey, and that you’ll try to learn about the other members. Quick rundown, Toru is the guitarist and band leader, Ryota the bassist, and Tomoya the drummer. Taka is the mother hen of the band and he cooks dinner for them every day while they’re on tour. They’re such a family! Another fun fact, they all have each others’ initials tattooed on them, except for Toru because he’s scared of needles, so he got his guitar engraved instead. 😂

Sorry for your loss. There are 2 bands that are my all-time favorite Linkinpark and One ok rock. I grew up listening to both of them. Surprisingly, Taka is also a huge fan of Chester and Linkinpark. Please check out 'wherever you are' from One ok rock. It's also a masterpiece.

Im so sorry for your loss. This was the first I heard this song as well and I can say it hit me too. This song was absolutely stunning. His vocals are always absolutely stunning but this just hit different.
I think you should you should check out The Rose. They're a kpop/rock group. Stunning vocals. I recommend She's in the Rain, Red, Sorry, and Beauty and the Beast. My fav by them

I highly recommend "Re make" and "69 (pronounce rock)" - Mighty Long Fall at Yokohama Stadium. Both are very catchy uptempo rock and you can see the crowd hyped up. If you like ”The beginning” I’m sure you will like them.

I first encountered ONE OK ROCK because I love Rurouni Kenshin and they did the main songs of the OST for all of the live action movies. I remember hearing a version of Heartache that ONE OK ROCK did live with a Japanese orchestra -- and it was AMAZING. I’m sad that up to now I can’t find that version…. It was a link I don’t remember how I got. 😢❤
I understand how this song hits hard after a loss, I love this song but I don't usually listen to it in public because I know that if I listen to it I'm going to cry and I'm not saying it's bad, I just think it's nice to remember those who we lost in a section of space .
