I was at this show in Yokohama in 2020 and before one of the songs Taka asked us to hold our hands together. Everyone without hesitation went and held hands with the people next to them even if they were complete strangers. After the song ended everybody was bowing to each other as a thank you for holding hands during this moment. It was by far the most memorable moment I had in any concert, ever.
I feel like you really get them, what they’re trying to do with their music. Taka being a hype man is such an apt description, haha. I love this concert and the album too. It’s so underappreciated. My next rec is “Can’t Wait” from this same concert, it’s such a great song 🥰

We, his fans, usually get strength from him, but it's itchy to do nothing at a time like this. We pray that he, Sushi, and his lovely home in LA, which has appeared many times in his videos, are safe and sound.

Since I started to look at the world, most of their songs have English lyrics. Many Japanese people have never listened to their songs properly because the lyrics are in English. (I was the same until two years ago). It's a shame! I want to taste One Ok Rock songs without translation and your reactions without automatic translation. That is my motivation to study English hard.
