Love this! Agree so much w disappearance of personal style . I guess part of it is that everything is so accessible now that you can exactly copy what you see on social/what others are wearing
Loved this video! Please make more of this kind plz! I don't think inspirations have to be direct. This is exactly I would want to talk about with my friends when I want to talk about fashion and design. Subscribed~
But everyone in new york wears black and since you moved there your style has been overtaken by black which tbh completely overwhelms your look 😭 I agree that the clean 90s silhouettes look great on your body though and your style has matured a lot. In an old video you mentioned the Tom Ford Gucci 90s red and blue combo and I felt like that direction is where your originality shines. Perhaps incorporating more deep colours other than brown and black would still provide the vibe you’re looking for, like burgundy, purple, red, without swallowing you. One thing I really admired about your style was the casual but still clean and structured looks, and the colour combos (I‘m thinking more Bauhaus colour blocking style like Josef Albers and not the eclectic pattern clashing that a lot of New York fashion influencers like to do) and I feel like that’s really hard to read with the sea of black and brown you dress in a lot these days that has no contrast and nothing to hold on to. I would love to see that again but in the more mature style lens you have now! Still very inspired by some of your recent looks though and excited to see how you keep evolving ☺️
Thank you for your feedback ! I still love black I think it just feels so comfortable for me, but tbh I’ve had no closet space in nyc so resorting to minimal colours and a bit of a uniform has been my reality… but I’m definitely feeling like I need a bit more colour back in my life 🎉 xxx
Now I need to make my own Love vs. Hate list 😂 Btw despite you don’t like green, I feel like a dark green jacket might fit you really well with the color tone of your eyes, skin and hair. If you find a tone of green you don’t hate of course 😂 thanks for the content
i loveeeeee the late 90s as well! skirts to me are always the best item in your closet
All year round !
