My family respects Dr. Ben Carson a lot. He performed surgery on one of my cousins who had a genetic issue with her spine, and it is due to Dr. Carson that she can walk today.
My mom loves him so much that she manned his booth during the primary when he ran for president in 2016.
Dr. Carson is awesome.
I love Dr. Carson, but I would also want Haley as VP. For me Haley, Rubio, and Carson are great choices.

Gabbard is a hard no. She wouldn't bring any new voters and would only turn away swing voters. Strange that anyone is even considering her.
Trump doesn't like Haley, but Haley would seal the deal. All he would have to do is get along with her for four years and then pass the baton. I don't love her, but she's bright, she can run the country and is able to take some of the independent female voters that Trump cannot get.

@@Mark-kq6ch: These people are not there to be buddies or friends. they are there to put forth policies that they feel would be in the greater interest of the people they serve. Not to be social pals. There is a history of Presidents and VP's who didn't not care for each other personally but made their relationships work on a professional level.
And yes, "for a few extra votes". this election will be close - regardless of what's going on right ow. If you want to win, then you do what you have to reign in those "few extra votes".
@@Mark-kq6ch She agrees with Trump on 80% of issues. Elections are won or lost based on how those "few extra voters" swing. The MAGA group isn't big enough to win an election on its own; it needs allies from the broader Republican party and independents.
Trump's tendency to purge anyone who disagrees even a little is a bad trait.
If Donald Trump wants black voters he would pick Tim Scott for his VIP. But he's not going to pick a black man for his VIP. That's exactly why black people shouldn't vote for him.
