Personally speaking, not everyone enjoyed listening to James because of his past as a gang member. True, his stories and insight are a good listen, but I enjoyed hearing some form of redemption: Him talking to at-risk young brothers, etc. It’s never good listening to tales of how folks destroy their communities. Props to FG for being more objective, here, than the people who usually interview him. It was finally good to hear this man acknowledge the wrong he was doing in the community.
