Lots of cute references to other Disney properties in this film. A lot of shots are recreated from other films. The couple on the soap opera are the voices of Belle and The Beast, the secretary is the voice of Ariel, the single mom “you’re too late” is the voice of Pocahontas. And probably my favorite; the old men dancing during “That’s How You Know” are all chimney sweeps from Mary Poppins!!
Also the woman on the dramatic soap opera is Paige O'Hara, Belle from beauty and the beast and the woman who answers the door with the baby is the singing voice of Pocahontas 😎👍
The 2 old ladies at the Ball are also Disney princesses, I don't recall which ones, but some of the old ones (I want to say Cinderella and Snow White...but I might be way off...lol).
One of my favorites! Ideal casting (Susan Sarandon was just delicious as an Evil Queen 😘), and I loved how they managed to make a live-action version of their animated films, while weaving in dozens of references from those films and turning nearly every expectation on its ear. Amy Adams was also in _Doubt_ the following year, with Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman, HIGHLY recommend adding it to the polls if you haven't yet. It's based on a play in which the principal of a Bronx Catholic school is concerned about the possible behavior of one of the priests, and it'll definitely spark a lot of conversation.
I remember that when this was released it was guilty pleasure for a 11 year old me and now I have no problem admiding that this is a really entertaining film
This movie is a great love letter to Disney’s best eras but if you inspect it it’s a great roadmap of the films that would follow it. You can see echos of what would be incorporated into Tangled through the whole film.
Hi ladies, I loved this movie, I believe it's Amy Adams first big budget movie. I watched your guys reaction to The Patriot from a couple years ago on Saturday and I have done a lot of research into my own family tree and I discovered something really interesting that is a commonality with you guys. You guys have an ancestor that served with my great (X6) grandfather in the New York militia. I believe Kim said she knew of an ancestor in the Revolutionary war, I found him in my research, a Jonathan Scribner born in 1759 in Connecticut. My great X6 grandfather was Thomas Alexander Kelley, who was a Captain in the New York militia. I believe it said Jonathan started in the Connecticut regulars company under Captain Albert Chapman, but then in 1779 was transferred to help train the New York militia and he served under my ancestor Thomas Kelley. Strange small world isn't it?
First 10 minutes in and I was sorely tempted to leave the theater. My father wanted to shoot the screen. Once she arrived in New York and summoned city vermin to clean house, I changed my mind.
I like enchanted 😍 lol 😂 it’s a beautiful movie lol 😂 I love 💕 Giselle Amy adams Robert Philip Patrick Dempsey prince Edward James marsden Nathaniel Timothy spall Nancy tremaine Idina Menzel Morgan Philip Rachel covey Queen narissa Susan Sarandon
In the future you should really watch Helsreach, beautiful movie and story made by UA-camrs and voice actors who are SO passionate about the film and story behind it...it gives me goosebumps everytime i watch it...love the channel keep the reactions coming 🙌

Glad you enjoyed the movie . Disenchanted was very good too. Just a note; the edits were so fast and the volume o soft, it was hard to enjoy .
