Brighton are a strange team. Watch them beat Newcastle away on Thursday then lose to Southampton next week.
it’s like they know they got europa league and they cba to play against the bad teams but the players want to do well against top teams so they get signed by them
@@timmy5876 Oh shut up. It's almost like football is just a game of chance and sometimes teams just don't show up.
They've done a madness this season, remember early on in the season they lost their long term manager, entire backroom staff, scouting department, technical director and have continued on like nothing's even happened.
@@JasonWilliams89concedinflg 5 to everton isnt being unlucky.
Would LOVE this as a liverpool fan
Newcastle above Arsenal next season? Buvey is absolutely delusional.
A reality check is needed, everyone talks about the top 4 as if it’s 2010, there’s 4 teams that genuinely think they should can the league with the money they splash. Arsenal have the youngest squad in the league, missing out on the title to Man City isn’t what it was 10 years ago
6:30 topic
The Southampton team years ago. I feel there are one or two other examples too. Now they're relegated.
Brighton will be picked clean in the window, then have a season or two milling around those Europe positions with gradually more misses in the players they sign. Then they'll start slipping down the table.
But Southampton is not known for replenishing their squad with as good as players as Brighton's. Their owners seem ready to pump money into the club.
@@rrjgpl We absolutely were - we were lauded for our recruitment. It all goes well until it doesn't anymore. I don't think it's possible to keep a level that high without large amounts of money. My prediction is that Brighton's time will come and they'll start slipping in a few years
@@itallack lauded for both the academy with the players that it churned out and the signs up to 6 or 7 years ago. They funded a lot of the signings selling Shaw, lalanna and the rest of the players that went to Liverpool. Mane and VVD were the last success stories from the transfer market. The quality fell off a cliff after that.
@@itallack as a brighton fan we are far better run now then southampton when they were good we have have the backing. I do agree we wont maintain what we are doing long term but we are 5-6 years ahead of everyone else in terms of recruiting policy and how we find players. the only other club close is brentford. I think we will suprise people cause just how well we are able to find talent most of our squad is incredibly young. We can invest far better than what southampton did.
@@I-am-stevo Yeah because we lost Les Reed to the England set up, him leaving was where the signings became crap I believe!
Concern for Arsenal is that they have returned to their normal form of recent years in the last 10 games, and that the first 20 games this season was the outlier.
this is actually a measured take instead of most folk just shouting we’ve bottled it. there’s just a clear lack of squad depth which hopefully will be addressed in the summer with 3/4 big signings. our first 11 is still class, we just don’t have 5-10 borderline world level back ups which is what we’re up against
@@diskid3644 You had no europe this year though, it will be much tougher next year when you don't have the luxury of one game a week.
I didn’t think of that perspective, I like your style 👌🏻
Strong disagree, even in this purple patch we've shown glimpses of brilliance.
I've never ever seen a team in this decade play like we did at Anfield, regardless of only getting a point.
Even in the West Ham games, a brilliant first Half. A strong performance against Chelsea and then followed by arguably the hardest away day in the league we've walked away with 3 points.
The only thing that has happened is we haven't been in the form of a title winning team, and have dropped off to a team looking like a top 4 team where its inconsistency every week (United the perfect example).
@@anishpatel344 excuse me but your point at anfield means nothing, city destroyed liverpool 4-1 at anfield last season so not only are you clueless about football to fit your narrative your team is shite and the best they can muster is a draw, or the facts lie 🤔😂
Buvey saying it’s pathetic they all left 5 seconds after saying he’d leave too😂😂he outdoes himself every week
hypocrisy incarnate
The sad thing is, teams like Brighton, Fulham & Brentford have been amazing but realistically are only one bad transfer window away from a relegation battle
Brighton’s ability to produce replacements is definitely something to be commended. Mitoma replacing Trossard, Caicedo replacing Bissouma, Estupinan replacing Cucurella.
But it’s a question of how long can they keep it up. With heavy rumours of Mac Allister, Caicedo, Evan Ferguson all potentially leaving, Can Brighton really replace those positions again. We saw the same thing with Southampton for many years. And now they’re gone.
@@Bugeye0704 completely agree
@@Bugeye0704 this was Southampton remember? It can all change so quickly. Typically does.
Spot on I mean look at Leicester
Err, Brighton have being going up from 17, 16, 15, 9, 6 finish over last 5 seasons? Talking bollox.
Leicester are literally doing what you said nobody has done with Brighton
@@dylanstevenson5737 spot on 🎉
@@dylanstevenson5737 exactly. And that's Buveys point. Southampton were the same, top8 3 years in a row, league Cup final and now relegated. Brighton are on an incredible run but in 10-15 years they'll be gone.
@@ciaranpennock-halpin2795 or we won’t… There was a time when Spurs and Chelsea were mid-table at best, and they managed to become two of the biggest clubs in the country. Why are Brighton fans not allowed to be excited without everyone trying to convince us this is only short lived? What if it’s not?
Madison €25m, tielemans €45m, fofana €35. All more than Brighton's record signing which is only £20m.
Leicester's model also relied on giving the players larger wages, they have one of the highest wage bills in the league. Brighton I believe have the second lowest. Not saying what Leicester did wasn't impressive tho.
@@ciaranpennock-halpin2795 hopefully we will be the outliers 🤞 ofc the deck is always stacked against anyone without infinite money
Enjoyed this stream 👀😂😂😂
Your life must be epic😂...
Rory's hair is like Bill Murray's in Kingpin
On the best ran clubs, and you put Brighton forward. I would say Ajax, Dortmund, compete at the highest level and are selling clubs and play good football, Benfica?
They are talking EPL specifically. Not sure they even think outside of the EPL.
0 league competition
Leicester won the league, fa cup, charity shield, and finished fifth 2 years in a row in the space of 5 or 6 years, now may get relegated.
arsenal need a centre back, a right back and a midfielder and they’ll be good to compete again next season. Their drop in form is because they have little depth in centre back and right back, they could also do with a new midfielder who can play 6 or 8 cus xhaka might drop in form or partey might be injured more
And a striker who is garunteed goals, Someone like Toney
They also need a goalkeeper, Ramsdale is shocking
And also a striker and arguably a keeper
@Yme Ypma nah toney is a pen merchant maybe enyseri
Super 6 = Gateway gambling for kids
Buvey genuinely doesn’t know what he’s talking about at all. Literally a club is only good if they win the league
If Liverpool carry on their form into next season they're gonna be a serious problem for arsenal
Boys you need to add the fact that super 6 is only available to people 18+. Gateway gambling, protect your audience
Buvey turn it in lad, have a word.
Ramsdale is such an ordinary keeper
So according to Buvey every team will strengthen but Arsenal won’t? What does he think Arsenal are just gonna turn around and stop rebuilding? Arsenal will be spending 200-250mil in the summer and players like Saliba, odegaard, saka and martinelli will all get better, it’s the youngest team in the league they will learn from this season.
@Jibbzy Lad that’s a lie bro. all teams gotta abide by ffp so most teams spend around the same each window especially the bigger clubs. Over the last 5 years Arsenal have the third biggest net spend only United and Chelsea have more… Arsenal clearly have more money than people think they do..
The simple question is this? Who do Arsenal get apart from a Rice/Caicedo who’d be a guaranteed upgrade on their current squad? Cause Xhaka isn’t a title winning talent and it’s all well and good saying Saliba’s injury lost you the title but you were getting worse again even with him in the team.
You need a RW bc Saka looks exhausted(despite playing 1 game a week) but who would go to Arsenal knowing they’re never going to play because as long as Saka is healthy. Look at Richarlison for how that goes. You need a upgrade on Jesus’ finishing but there’s no one available to you who could do the job reliably without sacrificing some of Martinelli’s output.
And you’re making the most dangerous assumption of all. You’re assuming every single player will get better no matter what simply because they’re young. Very few players will ever reach their full potential. We used to talk about Rashford the same way we talk about Mbappe and Haaland but he’s very much hit a ceiling and hasn’t actually improved as a player for 2-3 years now. He’s had better or worse seasons depending on his team and spurts of form. Kane or Haaland for example have been consistently world class irrespective of the team they’re in. Kane is on what 24? goals this season despite Tottenham’s form.
@@karmaascendant3936 that’s a load of nonsense lmao, there are many players who can improve Arsenal especially for squad depth, could easily upgrade both fullbacks or at least bring in talented competition for those places, Rice and Caciedo would both improve the squad, a top class winger to compete with Saka, also Saka is exhausted because he has barely had a rest since his breakthrough… and there are many goalscorers Arsenal could sign to compete with jesus or offer something different. And then another cb. Also i’m basing the players getting better on the trajectory they are on of course anything can happen in football but the team has been getting better and better each season if you don’t think players like Saliba, odegaard, saka and Martinelli aren’t gonna grow their game and get better than you aren’t using much logic. Also don’t worry about who would go to Arsenal pretty sure they can attract most players in the world lmao. Arsenal will be spending 200+ mil in the summer on at least 4 or 5 players, also you seem to be forgetting Arsenal’s recent transfer business has been pretty great. I just don’t see the logic in saying this is the best Arsenal will be all it tells me when i hear people talk like that is that they are simply just hating…
lol where in your arse are you bringing 200-250 mil figure from in lol? This was Arse-nil's fluke year where every team had bad year and they had to play twice every week. Arse-nil will go into mediocrity after getting smashed by Bayern in UCL and getting smashed by Luton Town in PL.
@@edenhazard2751 it’s literally be reported the board are giving Arteta 200+ mil. Arsenal spend money bro lmao they were literally willing to spend nearly 100 mil on Mudryk in January Arsenal have money and have been one of the biggest spenders in recent years… and the whole “every team had a bad season” is bollocks lmao you can literally say that about any prem season, there are very rarely ever more than 2 teams challenging for the title. Also your hate is clouding your logic lmao i don’t see how people can actually believe Arsenal are just gonna suddenly stop improving.
Rory knows about JUNGLE WTF
big fat & heavy 😅😅 it's by Leviticus (jumping Jack frost)
If Bernardo and Gundegan leave city this summer, which is possible, I think it’s all to play for next season if the others strengthen properly
city will bring in adequate replacements. also foden and even grealish could possibly be used centrally. keep an eye on mcatee as well.. although I think he needs one more loan before he is more ready for 1st team duties
Most excited Rory’s been since his haaland prediction😂😂😂💀
Southampton were doing what Brighton are now doing and broke down close to the decade mark in the league, having now been relegated.
Best team won. Credit Brighton first, not Arsenal sob story.
Contradictions FC!
“Arsenal need 4 or 5 world class players to compete”
To compete with a team that’s bench is better than most premier league teams starters? YES WE DO
You say it’s embarrassing that we’ve bottled the league (which admittedly I would say we have) but you admit our squad is nowhere near title contenders with statements like this and you label our season a “dissapointment” and “embarrassing”
Twist it whatever way you like we’ve pushed the best team in the world into a title race going into May and massively exceeded expectations of a top 4 challenge this year and that is something to be so proud of considering where we were last year.
I get buvey being cocky but man the way Rory celebrated every goal like it’s his club and the way he changes the way he acts when he’s around buvey is so annoying. Talking all this nonsense about a team that has no business being in the same conversation as his favorite club Chelsea who have been no question the joke of the entire season. Chelsea might have a great season next year but the way Rory talks I’d as if Chelsea were gonna play European football next year.
I personally think that start of the season vs end of the season expectations should be weighed 40:60. Like it’s all well and good expecting top 4 but now that Chelsea and Tottenham have exploded and Liverpool have fell away then you have to change your expectations. You finished 5 last year then 3/4 teams above you imploded so you should generally expect to finish 2nd and in that vein probably be in a title race
Arsenal have lost a once in a decade chance to get their hands onthr title🤣
If Arsenal don’t sign Rice AND Caicedo then they’re not serious about competing for anything
Farfan and Roque Santa Cruz buvey’s old school
City
Liverpool
United
Arsenal
Chelsea
Newcastle
Spurs
This might be too generous on Spurs
I mean leceister did all this
i dont care how much buvey pays you, he is massively bringing your group down, get a better third wheel please
Yeah that many fans left after the 3rd goal but city don’t have that many fans to begin with so bouvy is used to seeing an empty stadium 🤪🤣😂 just playing…. It’s the 3 goal rule mate you can’t blame them for bouncing you would’ve done it too..
Prince Charles?
The Harry Kewell chant when he was at Liverpool was a banger. It's so forced for Ramsdale.
Clubs like Brighton works on a very tight budget and they'd have to sell some players to get stronger financially which could go 2 ways. They can start strengthening their team overtime or it could go south and they'll be fighting for relegation 😮
Chilavert !
Brighton have been outstanding but the question remains, can they do it for 10 yursss...
Haha I just clicked to see if this was uploaded before I hit the bed
Arsenal are a strange team they beat New castle last week than get whopped by Brighton at home 😂😂
Have these left the kick off because of Brian. Also not seen Lawrence for awhile
Man the arsenal hype is mental, spurs pushed for a title race once 😂 look what happened to them. Arsenal will be battling for top 4
All season when everyone thought it was done, I was saying “I’ll believe it when I see it” there is absolutely no evidence Arsenal can get over the line in important moments. Now all the delusional arsenal fans can pipe down
3 snakes
Didn't even end with Brighton we lost it by not showing up at city
The problem arsenal have is that they are drained, they started preseason almost right away
Leviticus - big bad and heavy Rory
Swansea Portsmouth are examples of Brighton’s of yester year
Bloody Arsenal in the middle of their collapse grew some balls and actually put in a performance against us as St James’s and I knew it wouldn’t mean anything at the time but it means even less now Leeds shite all season put in a decent performance against us watch them lose all their other games all we need now is for Leicester to get battered at home against Liverpool then magically perform out of their skin against us
Sometimes Buvey’s bias is endearing, sometimes it’s irritating. Today is irritating.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Rename the channel ArsenalHateTV 😂
Shouts from South Carolina! Love the show boys, thanks for the entertainment 🍻
6:43 did Rory just say bruv... 😂
Not a chance arsenal drop out of the top 4 next year the way the media and rival fans have piled on arsenal I can already see the Kroenke's spending BIG this summer they are very rich remember arsenal have one of the richest owners in the league and their recruitment is good so i see not reason why that would change. The league is a different story though city would have to drop off.
11:46 tune is the burial by Leviticus 😂
What a troll 4:58 😭😭😭
Arsenal won't be in the top 4 next season, watch. Liverpool will be there, Newcastle will be there, Man city will be there, Man utd will be there and Chelsea.. well, no, they are in so deep, it will take more than a summer to clean out the gutter that their owner has created. Tottenham will try to be there. Brighton will be there. I don't think Arsenal get top 4 next season or maybe just (and come 4th). this was their chance to win the league, they bottled it. I don't think they will do a Liverpool and win it the next year after finishing the race on the goal line (last day win but man city win as well, so they won the league). I don't think this Arsenal team are good enough to do that. they are mentally broken.
The most famous Paraguayan footballer is that insane goalkeeper... his name escapes me... Jose Chilavert, that's the one. He was insane in the 90s. he took direct freekicks and penalties for club and country as a goalkeeper and he scored some bangers.
Arteta has to get the sack after this season, surely. I'm with Lee Gunner on this. If Arsenal want to be serious, they will sack Arteta and go get Achelotti who will be sacked at Real Madrid for not winning the league and/or the champions league (because man city wins that), then Anchelotti rebuilds that team
Arsenal have a much better chance at top 4 than Man U next season
Don't want a miracle merchant
Jeez man all that just to sound like a casual is crazy😂
Yes Rory
The worst is yet to come for Arsenal....esp with the new UCL format🔥😂
Bottled
Rory knowing what Levicus - burial is has increased his stock 10 fold in my view
Imagine ditching the guy who made your careers
Buvey trying to call out Arsenal fans for leaving in the 97th minute
The stadium was 80% empty after the second goal went in
You all vanished at the second goal what are you baffling about😂
Bottle jobs FC 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
You're the most expensive squad in the world, Arsenal are the 8th most expensive. Of course you're gonna win the league, would be insane if you didn't.
Bit of a shame. Another boring league title bought by City
Cry harder 🍼
How much did Chelsea buy the league, given that they spent £600 million?
@Abdul Koddus they did too but city is better run
@Jeff's Royal Body Guard city beat them twice. That was what won the league. They bought they team and have continued to do so
@@BrandonGiordano I'm guessing all arsenal's players were thru the academy?? 😅
They are back in the top four for sure next year he’s waffling only lost out to a couple draws
wouldn't be so certain and it wasn't just 'a couple of draws' - they had a great season but were also helped with bad seasons from the other top clubs (even city weren't at their absolute best at the start of the season) Liverpool, Newcastle and United could easily knock them out of the top 4 next season
And last season Liverpool only missed the quadruple due to a couple of results... things can change very quickly
@@joew7854 2 results was the difference between heartbreak and history. This arsenal team are nothing in comparison to Liverpool or City.
@@aduncan520 People say this as if that hasnt been the case for City and Liverpool literally every year. Like You can say "X had a bad year" about every team for everyone of the last 5 years, because nobody else came close to winning. Like what top clubs had bad years? Arent United the best theyve been in years? Chelsea, who finished on 74 points last year? The only team that fell off is Liverpool
I think if Saliba never got injured Arsenal would’ve clutched it
I’m not an Arsenal supporter, but the fact that you had quite a few experts throughout the season saying that City will win the league at the end just proves that they didn’t „bottle“ the league.
Everyone knew that they were one Saliba or Odegard injury away from desaster. You can’t compete against a team that has broken FFP rules and has a squad depth like no other club in europe.
You can’t expect from Arsenal or Liverpool to play a perfect season with over 94 points, just to beat that monster of a team pep build with sheikh money.
Arsenal still overperformed and played a fantastic season that they won’t be able to replicate, but it all means nothing against cheaters
Yes, United and Chelsea spent just as much, but just because they tried to rob a bank and failed because of stupidity doesn’t mean that City isn’t guilty after robbing the bank
@@siiir1322 exactly. people try to play what-about-ism but two wrongs don't make a right. City is bought and paid for with oil and blood money. They run the club well but I'm giving them no credit
They were 8 points clear...with that gap there's no pressure on you😅....they bottled it mate!why were the fans claiming to be winning it then???😂
Look at the games that got bottled, an out of form Liverpool a relegated Southampton one of the worst West Ham teams in years. Then top it off by getting battered by Brighton…. Bottlejobs the new Tottenham.
