I’ve been watching all your videos. One thing I haven’t seen you explain is what exactly you mean by the different weekly rhythm themes. I get that Sunday is church/rest day, but it would be helpful to see a video that explains what you mean by the different Monday-Sat themes and what types of things you put on those days, since your themes don’t match the Sidetracked Home Executives examples in their book. Thank you for putting up these videos. I heard you say they take about six hours to make and I’m very grateful for the time you’re putting into this. It’s really helping me apply their system! (I also tried Flylady years ago but love the more tactile version here!) Happy New Year!
I like the fact that the list isn't only on my phone and like you said; a smartphone has too many other distractions! Also... This system is Handy because I can take an entire list with me for reminders during days errands, ect... THANK YOU
Thank you! I have watched a few of your videos in the last couple of days on how this index card system can work for a variety of things. They gave me a great overview as well as a real life example. I'm in the process of setting my first deck up and it's very exciting, and I only know about this because of you. Again: thank you!
I have been obsessed watching your videos lately. However, I don’t understand the system at all. you’re sharing the cards and saying this is the date card or a day card, but you’re not actually showing the system and I would really love to understand how to physically use it on a day by day basis. Does that make sense?
I love your references of your “end products.” I am into these very same ideas… But now I want to retrieve my ideas…so am playing with the idea of “the Common Place Book.” Just a thought to share with you.
I have not been able to figure this out… HOWEVER, I just put together my 12-week year plan and this is what I’ve decided!!! I’m not going to work with your regular index card system (this first time). I’m only going to focus on my 12-week year. I already have all my rhythms and routines down, so I don’t need cards to do any of those things. But, I have a couple larger projects I want to finish before November. So, my new goal is to do two back to back 12-week years and then in 2025 I’ll decide if I want to keep the focus going on new 12-week years and if I need to add in rhythms and routines to my card deck. I’m MUCH older than you so this deck is hard for me to do because most of the cards don’t even apply to me so it was just too confusing. I’m hoping by FINALLY doing a 12-week year I’ll be motivated to keep this practice going one right after the other. I have so many projects I want to complete, so I just need to get started and I’m hoping this shift will make this possible. I’ll let you know. BTW, I’ve missed seeing your videos!! I hope you are doing well and enjoying your summer.
Was nice sitting and having a “coffee” chat with you about the cards and your system. Got me thinking about how I plan to use them in the coming weeks. I’m day two of week 2 and already changing things up :) I’m using this 12 weeks as my discovery, with the cards and planning my writing. I know in the past if I set concrete goals I usually run the other way. So I’m being very gentle and more I guess realistic in what I want. The staying in your lane approach :) cards have helped with the butterfly effect :)
I finally put together who you are! I collabef with you one or two channels ago haha and always loved your videos. So cool to see you finding what you love to share.
I am doing thr 12 week year but am not familar with your card system. I watched another one of your videos abt them and I'm still confused how the system is functional. I think a plan with me video or a vlog where you went to your cards each day for a week would be helpful.
Thank you so much for the feedback - that's a great idea! I do have one video that did something similar ua-cam.com/video/BuLSyy24znI/v-deo.htmlsi=g9EaPdvW8v3k9AQ8 - but I know I can do a better job at it.
Thank you for this! You mentioned not filling out the weekly score card until the week of instead of pre-filling. So you don’t write the tasks until you are done or you write what you intended to do at the beginning of the week? I know me. I can see me not writing something I intended to do and didn’t do if I wait until the week is over.
I prefilled them six weeks in advance - my thoughts were filling it out at the beginning of each week. Ha! You’re so right on flubbing it to see a good score 🙌

Thank you for the feedback - you're not alone in it. I'll work on explaining how to use the system on a day to day basis better.
I’ve got the same problem!!! It’s just not clicking in my brain. I need a tutorial for dummies!! 🤣

Could I put my budget and monthly bills in somehow. I am little overwhelmed- but determined to try this.
I've never tried to add them over - that sounds like something fun to try out!

What do you do with the Goals card in the deck?
I have used that to store cards with trackers on them in the past and ideas for what I wanted to accomplish in the future.
This is really cute and a cool idea. I need to do something like this. Will have to buy some I guess and support ya. --V
Thank you! It's something different to mix things up ❤
