I feel like as she sang her heart out on that stage, before us stood a young girl saying look, this is what I've been feeling the past 2 years. Through all the rumors and the lies she turned a public relationship into the truth. And on that stage she became the beautiful, strong, passionate, independent young women who is ready to move past the heart ache + become the women she's destined to be. That's what I feel that performance resembled and seeing her reaction when she came off the stage just justifies my thoughts even more. People who judge people for crying have been taught that crying is bad. They also have learned to suppress their own humanness. The outward judgement is a judgement they hold within themselves too. it is very sad because it is a form of self-abuse, not giving ones self permission to be human. If you look at babies they do not judge themselves for crying, it is taught.
As a Christian myself, I truly confess that when you get more drawn to God, you get really happy or overjoyed and get more sensitive. You'd get in touch with your emotions more. Why? Coz God just activated the genuineness of your soul. You become more vulnerable yet stronger. This is why I relate so much to Selena, for I've been where she's been through.

I feel like as she sang her heart out on that stage, before us stood a young girl saying look, this is what I've been feeling the past 2 years. Through all the rumors and the lies she turned a public relationship into the truth. And on that stage she became the beautiful, strong, passionate, independent young women who is ready to move past the heart ache + become the women she's destined to be. That's what I feel that performance resembled and seeing her reaction when she came off the stage just justifies my thoughts even more. I think I'm the proudest I've ever been of Selena right this very moment.

There are a lot of celebrities out there that are ignorant and selfish. But, Selena is the one that stands out from all of them. She's truly humble and genuine. I've been watching Selena since I was in diapers in my living room watching Barney until now years later. she truly inspires me to follow my dreams of singing everyday and to not give up. Why you judge her for crying? This was perfomance with a very sad and heartbreaking song. To help people understand and relate to that song, perfomance needed to be with full picture and acting too. That's what truly artists do. Sorry for my bad english, but i really wanted to say my opinion.
People who judge people for crying have been taught that crying is bad. They also have learned to suppress their own humanness. The outward judgement is a judgement they hold within themselves too. it is very sad because it is a form of self-abuse, not giving ones self permission to be human. If you look at babies they do not judge themselves for crying, it is taught.

As a Christian myself, I truly confess that when you get more drawn to God, you get really happy or overjoyed and get more sensitive. You'd get in touch with your emotions more. Why?
