I agree. Burr is definitely in my favorite 3 comedians for at least the last decade, but he is way too committed to “bustin’ balls”! Sometimes I just want to hear him have a discussion with one of his colleagues about comedy or whatever. But the moment he feels an iota of awkwardness or thinks the other person is “trying to sound smart”, or whatever, he turns it into a roast. And even if he’s hilarious it’s still a little weird and uncomfortable from a viewers perspective.
